When I went to Walt Disney World in 1990, Jim Henson was filming a Muppets special at the Magic Kingdom. My mom told me, my brother and my dad about it. We walked over to his guard and asked if we could talk to him. He asked Henson and Henson said yes. We then walked over to him and talked for a little. He even did the voice of Kermit The Frog for me. We then took our picture with him. I wish I had thought to ask for an autograph, though.
Anybody have any stories like this?

Thu 2/22/2007 11:20a | Only from the time I took my daughter to meet the Animaniacs. All three of those people are wonderful. Rob Paulson also did the voice of Mighty Max. My daughter was four at the time. He did the voice so that she would recognize him. I have the picture of her with him, Jess Harnell and Tress McNeille on my desk. The reason this is related? Jess does the announcing for America's Fav. Home Videos on ABC (Disney station) and Rob and Tress did voices for the new Cinderella 3 movie. I was as honored as my daughter to meet them. All three are as good as folks get. Jess was suprized when we met again at the Comic-con. He didn't expect my daughter to be almost as tall as him! "- D Completely envy you for meeting Jim Henson, though. He is one of my heroes from way back. I am a Muppets baby. |
