Great pictures. I think the studios have some of the best decorations around. I'm pretty sure that the tree is my favorite of all the parks, but I say that for which ever tree I saw last, so that could change. It's too bad that it is outside the gates, instead of in front of the theater or some place else within the park. I really like how the garlands and lamp decorations on Hollywood Blvd and the things along Sunset really fit in with the theme. They may be tacky by modern standards, but they really add to the period theming of that part of the park. I just wish there was a better spot for that neat tree (I'm a huge fan of the Santa lights).

I love The Studios at Christmas. The decorations and lighting are wonderful. The Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard decorations are like every town in America; small 3,000 population wide spots in the road to 1,000 plus cities had when I was growing up.

It may be tacky by today's standards, though I don't think so. It sure made Christmas fun. We would all get in the car and drive around to various towns just to see what their decorations were like.

Ah... back in the day, things really were better!

The lights are fantastic, but pick another time of year to tour the Streets of America for what they are. Besides the terrible crowd levels, the strings of lights make it hard to enjoy the theming.

As for the crowds, try going last thing at night or during "Fantasmic!". You risk not seeing any snowfall, but the "claustrophobia factor" is greatly reduced.

Of course there is.

Right in front of the Chinese Theater at the dead center of the park ... where it used to reside before Disney built a giant pin shack.

Just another casualty of really inept management.

The Osborne Lights were excellent this year. Mikey's eyes lit up when we saw them flick on. It really put me in the Christmas spirit.

Yes the Osborne Lights were incredible. Unfortunately I didn't find one hidden Mickey.
