<<<<It was such a warm day that I removed Croc's and a nearly new , freshly laundered pair of very fecthing Berry/wine colored socks and stuffed them lovingly into the Croc's and left them on the sand.
Try to feel my horror and shock when i returned to find one ( Mark This well) one {1} sock to be missing! Had the cold winter sea taken it,had some seemly peaceful hell Bird removed it, or and this is where the blood runs cold had some fiend in human form removed for who knows what perverted use.<<<<

Upon reading this info, and having experienced moving a daughter to the coast myself, and knowing the stress one goes through with all that has to be taken care of with moving daughter, it is quite possible that you DID NOT actually wear 2 socks that day. I'm confident you only THOUGHT you put on 2 socks because of the trauma induced by the chore of moving daughter to new location. I speak with experience and know full well, you can actually think you have done normal things, when moving daughter, when you really did not. So, I have concluded that you did not lose 1 sock, no hell bird grabbed your sock and we all know there are no perverted people on the shores of Wilmington, NC.

I have to inform you, in a loving LP sort of way, you really did not have 2 socks on that fateful day. Besides, have you smelled your socks? Who would want them? hell bird or even perverted person would gladly throw it back. Let this sink in and be glad you have good friends such as myself.

Why do i have such trouble. I first lived thru the great sock mystery and now I fear I am losing my mind. If I start by forgetting to ware both socks can pants be far behind ?
O how the great are brought low by the works of their own hands.

tsk, tsk, I mean, *sigh*

How dreadful knowing you might not know what you are doing or didn't do.

Quick ~ put on 3 socks, that is, put 2 on one foot and 1 on the other (didn't want you confused as to where to put the 3rd sock). This should bring things back to normal. I don't think we can take you forgetting your pants.

People who have fancy socks, I have a question. My mom has recently started a job where she needs to dress professionally. She wears nice dress pants and pantyhose but finds that pantyhose don't keep her legs warm enough so she wants some nice dress socks. Where does one buy some nice dress socks for a lady? I get my socks at Target, I don't think they even have dress socks. Help!

MissC ~ yes, you can find dress socks. They are also referred to as "trouser socks". You can even find them in a major drug store chain; we have CVS, Walgreen's Eckerd's, I'm not sure what chains of stores you have there. Anywhere you see No Nonsense brand, you'll find trouser socks. You can choose the thickness you prefer and the length of the sock, AND, various colors and patterns!!! So not to worry!

My wife shops at Talbot's and finds many nice items. I do like their Talbot's mens line but Brooks brothers is still the best for grown up clothes.
