I just saw a new book on eBay: The Making of Hong Kong Disneyland. Does anyone know anything about this or where it can be ordered? Can't find it listed on amazon.com or amazon.uk, and there's only one copy up on eBay.
What's the poop?

you can find a link here http://www.prospectparkbooks.c
om/publicity.html

it's just an author bio though. I'll look around town and see if I can find the book. the price on ebay seems a bit steep.

The book has been produced exclusively in two formats, namely a gift edition for the imagineering team that worked on the park and an edition available to buy for CMs at the resort and Mickey's of Glendale (although I believe they only ordered a few hundred at most). Sadly it is not available for the general public to buy and there are no plans to release it either.

It was written by Mel Malmberg, a former imagineer herself (and author of the Making of DAK) and wife of Joe Rohde.

It be honest you aren't missing out on anything. It is a very "lite" book with not a great deal of artwork and just PR-style photography. There isn't a lot of detail at all. The book didn't turn out how Melody envisaged but it became a struggle to even get it out there at all. She did actually tell us that our coverage of the park's design and construction in Tales from the Laughing Place magazine was more along the lines of what she wanted to do.

And you are always welcome.

A few were also available for purchase by CMs at DLR via the Team Centers (but not Company D). I think they may be out of them already, though.

ORWEN: Isn't it too soon for a book to come out on this particular park, yet? I mean, it's still a work in progress. After they add a lot more attractions, a book about Hong Kong Disneyland will be worth buying.

The book sold for a whopping $71!

If anyone out there has one for sale, please e-mail me at moobooks@ix.netcom.com

Yeah, too expensive for me! I'd LOVE to find a copy of this at a reasonable price...
