Most people are comfortable enough in the decision to fly coach (and put up with it) but would want a safer and more comfortable hotel experience. That is the reality and that reality does not come cheap when you have a family. I don't have those concerns at all and I appreciate the freedoms that it gives me. |

There's no denying though that there is little need to worry about safety in Tokyo. |

My point is that you miss out on things if you set a minimum standard above what you can afford, when there are perfectly viable alternatives. I guess I would put a line of reasoning of "All I can afford is the Palm & Fountain Terrace, but I don't want to see suburbs when I'm on the bus to the resort, so I just won't go" to be along the same lines of "I want to stay at WDW for a week, but all I can afford is the Pop Century, so I just won't go."
Well, maybe such a person might consider staying at WDW for less than a week in exchange for affording a moderate resort, or maybe they decide that Pop isn't so bad after all if the alternative is to sit at home on the sofa and not go at all. But I see many people who claim to be interested in visiting TDR make exactly this sort of decision. |

The kids and wifey do NOT have to come... that way it'll be cheaper to do. >>Those hotels are comparable to All Stars/Pop Century in terms of amenities but they don't have the immersive Disney experience and personally I can't fathom why OLC continues to develop these value offerings.<< Personally I don't fathom why WDW ever offered them in the first place!!! Talk about a step down in class for a so-called "World" class resort. |

Hear me now and thank me later...
Skip the Kabuki. ;) |

The divorce settlement would cost far more than the trip to Japan!
