Good point on how Mermaid Lagoon enriches the park Mara, but just to clarify there are only 4 rides with height restrictions, compared to 3 over in the other park.

DisneySea is pretty accessible to kids (not QUITE as much, I'll grant ya)...my little one very much enjoys the lagoon (especially the show, and the play zone of course), stormrider, Sindbad, the carousel, the Genie Movie, 20,000 Leagues (scared her a bit though, too dark), and aquatopia to name a few "good for kids" rides (she's pretty bold though...Stormrider is not for all kids to be sure!).

And the Mermaid Lagoon Theatre is really something special. I was quite surprised when I first saw the show. I thought it would just a little production meant to cater to the children, but boy was I wrong. It's probably my favorite "theatre show" among the Disney parks.

Mine too (DEFINITELY my favorite, actually...it's my only "must see" show in ANY Disney park).

The first time, I really expected a rehash of the lame MGM show...and was blown away by the awsome concept.

I was too. One of the biggest surprises for me was the giant Ursula head AA(?) since I had not read about the show prior to seeing it.

That scared my kid (she hid her eyes). :p

Well, I'll be going to the Tokyo Disney Resort next year with my 6-year-old daughter, so I'll be curious to see how she perceives the E-Tickets at DisneySea and how much time she actually wants to spend in Mermaid Lagoon. I'm guessing that it'll be a good half day between doing all the rides, running around in the playground for half an hour at least, then eating and shopping in that one location.

Couple of hours at least, if you eat there as well (love that pizza!).

I think your daughter will have more fun at Tokyo Disneyland. Especially if they are a big fan of the characters. Pooh's Hunny Hunt was a joy for my entire family.

I prefer the Mickey pizza at Huey, Dewey, and Louie's Goodtime Cafe in Toontown. It's got a really good mix of sausage, peppers, and onion bits on it.

I prefer the sausage and mushroom pizza at Pan Galatic Pizza Port. It's delicious.
