>>One of my favourite cities so it is always a pleasure to be here.<<
The sad part is... I have never been to Spain, which is odd since my great grandparents hail from there. Hopefully one of these days...
Oh BTW... I had a great time at HKDL today. The park was semi-crowded, in fact, the crowdest I have ever seen the park. Still NOT packed terribly. The Chinese New Year show was great, albeit short in lenght. I can honestly say, the more I visit HKDL, the more I like it for the theming and feel of the place. I just *love* that Adventureland area. Got my HKDL-specific Chinese New year LE pins... :) :) :) How cool is that?

Tomorrow? TDR. Hoping to catch the remixed BraviSEAmo! show and Lights of Romance.. (a favorite eye candy of mine).

Not sure if I will be coming back to HKDL next month as of yet, and NO, I have not been to that restaurant in the Airport. The truth is.. I never hang out at airports, except when I am on duty, in between flights.

<<I am not there weekly Loomis... only like.. every other month or so..>>

I know, I was going to add you to last week's roster. However, I never got around to it, for I am a silly man indeed.

Look forward to hearing your full trip report, TDLFAN.

As for us, given the sheer amount of photographic material we have to get through this week, we thought we'd do something a little different and make this week's column more of a photographic journey through the last week in the park. So join us as we present Part One of this week in Hong Kong Disneyland - in pictures!

Thanks for the pictures. Is it possible that Space Mountain hadn't lost all of it's paint, but was just covered in dirt? It seems like the one in DL gets dirty pretty quickly (not that dirty, and more brownish), so it could be something similar. It looks like all of the pictures of people working only have hoses, so they may have just been hosing it down to remove the dirt. Either way, it looks great now, and should not be allowed to get to that point ever again.

Space Mt was stripped off it's paint and repainted. Only the top portion of the building remains a bit... discolored.

It was definately de-painted. You could hear the power tools going during the whole thing. It's all new paint. There are still a few bare patches near the bottom edge over near the exit from the space mountain shop.
