WDW. The Disneyland Hotel was not owned by Disney until the 1980s. It may have been the first hotel to have the 'Disney name' on it, but the Wrather corporation owned it until they were bought out by Disney. The Contemporary and Polynesian Resorts were the first truly owned and designed Disney hotels.

OK--I'll say Disney's America, but I've no idea. And just to clarify, in this thread we use "resort" to mean resort complex like WDW or DLR, *not* hotel like Polynesian Resort or Contemporary Resort.

Yep. It was actually two separate cable systems with a connecting station, wherein riders made a smart turn to the left (in one direction, right in the other, I suppose) moving from one cable to the other.
