"officer" because that is part of my job title and "minnie" just lets you know I am a female.

I was puppy homing for Canine Partners at the time. Right after 9/11 my puppy got named for Todd Beamer from Flight 93 which crashed over PA. So I beamerdog. No, not named after the car, lol. |

It just stuck because it's not a name many people use so it's often available lol!

My name was both a spur of the moment, and a gift for the rest of LP since they get to have *five* of me in their presence. Yes, I know it's wonderful...
Okay, okay, I'm not that pompous, but I thought that FiveBearRugs would be a spiffy name... and I love the abbreviated versions of it. Look at all those American license plates that have 5BR as the first three numbers/letters! :)
The *5* is also in lieu with my father, Inspector*5*7... :) Hi daddums! Will I get to see you at the Meet this year? |
