Yesterday I saw several auctions on Ebay for new Disney Racers die cast cars:

Mr. Incredible and Syndrome

Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones, Kraken, and Skeleton

And of course the Star Wars set is still pretty new. Has anyone seen any other releases? I've been collecting these since they were originally released as "Disney's Wild Racers" years ago by Hasbro. The Disney Parks seem to be reissuing all of the originals, and have added new ones (the Monorail, Bus, Star Wars set, the Pirates and the Incredibles). Several characters were announced/shown years ago but never released:

Woody, Rex, Baloo, Tigger, Long John Silver, BEN (we'll probably never see the Treasure Planet ones, though).

I saw some new ones in e-bay too. The same that you said, plus red ranger car. I also collect those cars, but I have no idea how many are in the total. Does any body nows??

Not sure but I think the number is somewhere between 40-45.

I have the Chernabog/Hades set still sealed in its package. I believe I bought it in 2001...or was it 2002?

We too collect them - We have quite a few still in the packages -
The Pirates set comes in a four pack and I think one of them is only in that pack -
When we asked a couple of months ago no one seemed to know when others would come out
We already had the star wars and incredibles - the last new set we got was the Pirate 4 pack. We don't care for power ranges so we never got those -
They also sell a case for them now.

I forgot that there was a Villains 4-pack. It included Chern and Hades, as well as Oogie Boogie and...The Hydra from "Hercules". Odd choice. The cars were also recolored and had a metallic look to them.

Yeah, I remember seeing a picture of the villains pack---never saw it in a store (like many of the earlier sets). The Hydra was released as a single car in the Disney Parks. I think the parks ultimately released all of the regular versions of the characters---there are of course paint variations on quite a few characters, and special items like the Shere Khan Big Rig and the Kaa looping track. Maybe those will be re-released, too.

I remember seeing the Kaa Loop in the Disney Store, and almost considered it for my Collection of Evil(tm). Besides the loop, Kaa would be watching the racers, and the challenge was to make it through the loop without his end tail knocking your car off the track.

I can't recall if I saw the Shere Khan Big Rig (ie carrying case for the Racers) in stock, but I do remember seeing the picture of it on one of the car packs (or maybe it was the Kaa box I saw it on). The big rig also came with a Bagheera car.

I don't think I ever saw the Villain 4-pack in the stores as well, but I did see it prominently on eBay.

I was quite surprised to see all the second wave of the cars in the original run, and I was really hoping that it would have been a hit with kids. Oh well.

If memory serves me right, this was the first wave:
-Villains: Hades/Chernabog
-Best Friends: Mickey/Pluto
-Dragon: Mushu/Maleficent
-Challenge: Dalmatian Pup/Cruella
-Challenge: Buzz/Zurg
-Challenge: Genie/Jafar
-Challenge: Simba/Scar

And then came...
-Stitch/Gantu; Gantu had the Gan2 Racer and Stitch's used his experiment number (626)
-Hatter/Cheshire; Cheshire's was called the Invisible Incinerator
-Goofy/Donald
-Skellington/Oogie
-Bagheera/Shere Khan (included with Shere Khan big rig)
-Sulley/Mike
-Villain 4-Pack: Oogie/Hades/Hydra/Chernabog (all metallic and recolored)
-Friends 4-Pack: Mickey/Goofy/Pluto/Donald (also metallic)

The Shere Khan Big Rig Set I have includes 2 Shere Khan Racers (one painted white and one painted orange: Tar Tearin' Tiger and Striped Speeder).

I actually have two of the "Escape the Snake" Kaa sets. One was on deep discount at ToysRUs and one came from Disney Online. The ToysRUs version has includes one Bagheera car and the Disney Online version has 2(One painted black and the other painted red/grey: Midnight Cruiser and Be-Bop Burner).

There was also a set of Mickey Mouse cars in different colors available in a failed line of Disney juice boxes/pouches. These were difficult to get, because the box of drinks either came with a small plastic vanity license plate, or the car (most of the boxes I got came with the plate only).

I believe that more Pirate cars (different from what is in the Parks) are availabe in Europe as part of similar Disney Racers line.

I found 45 diferents racers. some of then are from the first ones, the disney wild racers. But almost all then are sell in the single pack.
Up to now, i have Jack Sparrow, Kraken, Davy Jones, Skeleton Helmsman, RD-2D, C-3PO, Storm Trooper, General Grievuos, Darth Vader, Red Power Ranger, Mad Hatter, Zurg, Buzz Lightyear, Shere Khan, Oogie Boogie, Jack Skellington, Hades, Bagheera, Pluto, Mickey Mouse, Genie, Jafar, Hydra, Mushu, Maleficent Dragon, Scar, Disney Monorail, Stitch, Captain Gantu, Sulley, Disney Bus, Cruella, Donald Duck, Goofy, Timon, Syndrome, Mr Incredible.
I am still missing Cheshire Cat, Chernabog, Simba, Mike, Dalmatian, Black Dalmatian (wild racers), Pumba and Steamboat Willie.
I never saw the power ranger pack... and i belive that the piretes cars sold in europe are other collection.
Does anybody nows any other racers, out of this 45?
See you latter!!!
