I wonder if these will have any monetary value, like the Hot Wheels or the Cars cars...

I believe that the older ones alredy have some monetary value. On ebay they are very overpriced and the auctions are very disputed.

Found out there is a new Mickey Mouse transporter truck out. It is a car carrier made to carry 6 of the Disney Racers & is about 15" long. The cab of the truck is shaped like Mickey's head. You can find pics at disneystore.com. Just do a search for disney racer transporter.

I wish they had a new group of cars coming out this Christmas season, but I have not seen or heard any news. Anyone have any info ???

Was going through the old posts & noticed that last year the new racers came out early December. Hopefully there will be more this year.

Overall, the trend looks like new Star Wars released in June & new Disney characters released in December..........

It's been so long since I've posted, I couldn't remember my password and had to start over.

I was at Walt Disney World November 8-14, and the toughest Racer to find was Kermit the Frog, which is my favorite of the latest line of characters (I also like the Tigger car). The Kermit car was at the store near Muppetvision 3D one day, and then a few days later, it was gone--- Ifound it at the toy store near the Brown Derby finally, and nowhere else on property.

Still shocked that they have not yet released Woody and Rex, which were planned years ago. For some reason it took them years to release Tigger (saw a concept illustration of him long ago).

I decided for financial and space reasons not to get the Star Wars vehicles, though they are very cool. They also seem to be at every store at Walt Disney World.

The Carnotaurus Dinosaur and Figment seem to be exclusive to Walt Disney World (for obvious reasons).

I'm guessing the next releases will be for more Toy Story characters. I'm wondering if they will make a Princess line, or Marie too (looking at the current selection of character merchandise). Maybe Marvel characters are on the horizon, too.

I'm guessing we'll eventually see Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Tick Tock, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, the Beast, Sebastian, Flounder and Casey Jr.

The link in post 46 has been updated recently(11/17) and new pics of Rockets McQueen and Megasize Bessie and the new Drive-In Gallery Gil.
I recently purchased some Cars Holiday editions at Target for stocking stuffers.
