Y'know what just occurred to me...

That land once slated for Beastly Kingdomme...

How does that compare to say, the footprint for attraction space at Sea World?

:-)

^^^Okay, I just looked for myself.

Screw that idea. But it is big enough for a substantial water-themed "land" if they wanted to go that route.

Given the costs involved, and the fact that Sea World is such a good neighbor, and does that sort of thing so well, I'm guessing Disney won't go there.

^^^Actually, that land back there between Kali and Constellation Station is just about the size of all of Sea World (minus their parking lot)...

The potential for DAK is amazing. The things they could build there, whenever there's the will or need.

Wow, seriously?? That's a LOT of space! I wouldn't mind Disney doing a water themed area. Yeah, it would compete directly with Sea World, but it would still be fun, and open up a lot of attraction possibilites...although hopefully none with Nemo, since that's, well, already done.

So does anyone know why Beastly Kingdom was eliminated? It seems to be such a no-brainer for the park - why don't they seem to want it??

Posting here for the first time in a week or two, I have to say that I'm surprised by this news and I also feel good about it also. I don't exactly have the best eye when it comes to aesthetics, but the sphere was great-looking on its' own. It didn't need the overlay.

I'm glad it's going down, but I'll echo a semi-common sentiment and say that I want the hat to go down at Disney-MGM as well. It takes away a lot of the effect that you got from looking down the boulevard in earlier years. It would be great to get that image back, if only to still have some connection to the original theme of the park.

Sincerely,

John Kilduff

>>>ABSURD!<<<

Some people have such a sweet aroma when they enter a room.

And then others...you know. You gotta have some Lysol handy after they drop one and run away.

Like the Berlin Wall before it, they should break it up and sell it ...
