| Jim in Merced CA Sun 6/3/2007 10:19a | Back in the early 80s, I shot a commercial for 'S'more's Granola Bars.'
I showed up on the set, and went to make-up.
The make-up artist, [and I recognized him from a Mousketeer book that I own], was none other than former Mouseketeer Tommy Cole.
I said I recognized him, and he was flattered and kind of bemused as to why I would have known who he was.
Okay, there's my story... |

I wasn't expecting them to be there so I had nothing to get an autograph with even if I wanted one but it was a pleasant surprise. Bobby was there, that one I remember. They had a small parade and then a meet and greet. |

| Goofyernmost Sun 6/3/2007 11:52a | Unfortunately, Annette was stricken with MS and is confined to a wheelchair at this point. She apparently is not doing very well. |

| scotty357 Sun 6/3/2007 1:28p | That is a shame. At least someone in this world remembers her and is thinking of her, that being us. Her time on Earth has not been in vain. She touched a lot of young children in the 50's and 60's, and will always be remembered with her pretty smile. Wouldn't it be cool if she could see we are writing about her now.? Have a good Sunday everyone and this is very enjoyable. |
