I totally remember the 70s version. I was in late elementary school at the time. Though it didn't run for very long, I'm surprised they don't make more of it. If nothing else, as a nostalgia piece. And it was Disney.

I used to watch it just about every day. Oddly enough, my favorite part of the show was seeing trailers for upcoming live-action Disney movies ("Return from Witch Mountain") and ads for Disneyland rides (Space Mountain being one) during the commercial breaks.

Mouseketeer Cheryl (Holdridge) lost her battle with lung cancer earlier this year; she passed away in January.
