THEY DON'T. They accept money from anyone wanting to have a private party, etc. Heck, Christians in large groups scare me so I'd never want to be there for Night of Joy, yet DISNEY PROMOTES IT.
They do NOT promote Gay Day. They just are not going to refuse paying guests.

I think someone who labels herself a "pirate" should know better than promoting a holier than most attitude. But oh well... we gays are used to the bashing and such, and it won't deter us from pushing forward for equal rights and treatment, and if it ticks off a few along the way, then it's worth it tenfolds.

Ok, I know...don't feed the troll, but I just want to point out that gay people are forced the straight "agenda" every single day. How often do you see straight people holding hands, or kissing (sometimes almost pornographically) in the streets? How many sex scenes in films and TV do we see? How is any of that not shoving the straight "agenda" down people's throats? Oh, because it's "normal", or the "majority"? It's just amazing to me how people cannot fathom the hypocrisy of it. How much gay imagery does the average straight person see in a day compared to "normal" hetero activity, huh? The ONE time you might be forced to deal with something out of your comfort zone and you freak out and say something is being forced on you. Welcome to the real world...grow a pair!
Sorry to be so blunt...and kind of rude, but that particular poster wasn't exactly smelling of roses either. No offense to the rest of you in this thread. |

and Kennesaw Tom ... I am going to PRIDE tomorrow in Providence Rohde Island!! I can't wait to see the only night time PRIDE parade - on the RIVER no less. It sounds awesome. We are going to hang out at the State Capital (also the festival grounds) and then see the parade.
E-mail me (TDLFAN has my address) and maybe we can drive to providene to meet up. We have never been to the clubs there - it would be fun to go !
