Hi Everyone,

How scary is the Tower of Terror? I've riden Expedition Everest, Mission Space(with spin), Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain with no problems and love them all. However, I always chicken out when it comes to Tower of Terror. Is the Tower of Terror that much worse or easier than these other rides?

Thanks.

Depends. I would probably put it on a par with Expedition Everest. Besides, it's so short in the main, you can close your eyes if you don't like it. But my gut says you will like it.

It scared me big time. BUT...my daughters (18,16) thought it was the best!! Not a big fan of free fall feeling!!

TOT is overrated. Your chickening out is silly. TRY IT next time you visit. Remember... this is "Disney". There are no scary rides.

It gives me a fun kind of scared.

The scary feeling comes from the anticipation. The actual drops are fun. It's that preshow video and 3rd dimension room that drag the whole show down in a most boring way.

I agree with TDLFAN, there are no scary rides at Disney; their rides are really low on the terrifying scale. It's more about theming than gut-wrenching thrills.

Well.. the rides in Paris, Tokyo and even HKDL are heavy on theming. WDW's? Well.... somewhat. But WDW's TOT has the best outdoor queue for sure.

ADD CA's to that list of themed rides as well.. please.

Thinking about it, there is one ride at Disney that is high on the terrifying scale: Summit Plummet at Blizzard Beach. 120ft. nearly straight down at 60mph... on your back? Yikes!
