I want to take advantage of the lower lines during these 2 displays, but I'm worried about getting "stuck" somewhere I don't want to be because of the crowds. Does anybody have a strategy they've used (successfully) to ride, for example: Indy, Splash, POTC, HM, SM, & BTMR? while the fireworks and Fantasmic! were going on?

Thanks for any tips on this!

Fireworks...we usually take advantage of the Tomorrowland rides during this time.

But you can usually navigate across Main Stree to do Indy, etc.

Fantasmic....Rivers of America area is busy ... we don't usually go over there during this show...but you can still get around if you need to rides in the area.

Ssturgeo, how long do the fireworks last? The only ride in TL I'm interested in is SM; will I only have time to ride one attraction for the duration of the fireworks, do you think?

Fireworks...hmmm..20 minutes at least? Someone else chime in here...time has no meaning to me when I am DL!!

How much time you have would depend on the line for SM!!!

17 Minutes, 11 seconds, plus Leann Rimes' song afterwards.

They will herd everyone into Frontierland after the fireworks. My suggestion would be to ride the rides in Adventureland, NOS, and Critter Country, then, be on Main Street to high tail it over to Tomorrowland when they're over.

Pirate Princess, won't I run into the masses of people heading the other way if I try to exit Critter Country when the CM's are herding the fireworks watchers into Frontierland? I'm sorry if I seem dense; I'm looking at a map of DL, and I don't quite get how this will work. :)?

We like to ride the train to get around the crowds before the fireworks start. Once they start, they usually stop the trains.

Considering most people are sitting way before the fireworks even start, you can start in CC, then hit NOS, then Adventureland. Then, before they're over, wait on Main Street.

I know that it take a good 1/2 hour to get from in front of the castle to Main Street on a busy night. And if you do that side before or during the fireworks, you won't have to try to do them during Fantasmic.

So then I would ride SM during F! Oh, I forgot about Star Tours--so I could also ride that at this time. Sounds like a plan. Thanks, Pirate Princess, and everyone else!!
