KinOO, don't fool yourself, I am an Europa Park AP holder and it is not 1000 times better than WDSP, maybe twice as good, but 1000 times as good? Considering ToT and Cinenamagique blow anything EP has out of the water, it can't be 1000 times better.

Granted EP has a great POTC clone, a decent HM copy, and a ton of smaller rides, as well as some kick ass coasters. It is better than WDSP but 1000 times better?

I will give you twice as good, but EP has been around for over 20 years. I am sure in 20 years WDSP will be a better park.

I have to say, I have been to all three of those, and don't care if I ever go to them again. I stand by what I said, to me, WDS is the 2nd best park in Europe.

<<< WDS is certainly NOT the 2nd best european themepark. Europa Park, Phantasialand or Port Aventura are 1000 times better than the DLRP second gate! >>>

Thats clearly a matter of opinion here. Sure if you like your parks to contain unthemed ammusment park rides. But if your looking for attractions that have a bit of an actual storyline to them WDS is the best.

Agreed Malin. I don't think any of us deny WDS could be better. But I would rather go to Legoland than those other parks, and as much as I like Legoland, I still have more fun at WDSP.

I have outgrown amusement parks. I like true theme parks of high quality, and Europe does not have many to choose from.

Whilst I think WDSP just about edges it, it's a very close race!!!

I actually think EP is pretty well themed, and a really nice park. They have made some nice additions over the past few years that have really made it stand out. I will call it the second best theme park in Europe, but it isn't 1000 times better, that is where my issue is.

It annoys me when people dismiss WDSP as a piece of crap when really, it has it's positives as well as it's negatives to it.

I still view the park as another "land" more so than a park I could spend a full day at. On my last visit I tended to hop over there for a particular show or attraction throughout the day.

We're going to Tivoli in Copenhagen on August.. any opinions about that in European scale?

Tivoli is lovely, and you can see where Disney got a lot of ideas. Best things about the place are the gardens, buildings, live music everywhere, and wonderful table service restaurants. The rides are ok, but largely forgetable. But the place, it's vibe, parades and bands are unforgetable. The illuminations and fountains are lovely to. It is best enjoyed at night.
