Mon 7/30/2007 4:50p | Funny, I never heard anything. The scream was from the speakers? I always thought it was the people in the room. And i too, never thought the spooky voice you hear is the voice of the person hanging. |

Usually, the guests are screaming, so you don't hear it.
but if you're in there, and actually have a courteous crowd, you'll hear the blood-curdling scream. |

Wed 8/1/2007 7:18a | That's the thing, I don't know if it's supposed to be the Ghost Host screaming, because it's a woman's scream. It could be that it's meant to be somebody else screaming in fright. Maybe to provoke the guests to scream...which they do (obnoxiously, I might add!). |

But is it? I said that I'd like to assume that it is, but how do we know it isn't someone else that died of hanging? (That person would have died "his way," after all, making the statement totally valid.) |

Wed 8/1/2007 7:40a | ...and to follow up on that last post, it would seem that the facts indicate that it -isn't- the Ghost Host. I mean, as we saw in my post, there's a painting in the Mansion of the Ghost Host that shows him released from where he was hung. If he's still up there when we see him, then how could the painting already exist that shows him freed? (Yeah, it could be "spooky magic," but you could use that excuse for anything. I'm just trying to go by the facts.)
I know, this is reading deeper into the whole story than it can probably withstand. But it would seem on the facts presented that it is likely NOT the Ghost Host hanging there.
Unless somebody else knows something...any volunteers? |

Indeed...he absolutely did die by hanging. But how do you make the leap that that's -his- body up there? "My way" doesn't state that that's him...only that the corpse we're seeing died in the same manner. Also, see post #7. |

Ah, but that's where you're wrong. Special sound effects wizard Jimmy McDonald actually supplied that scream - and although it is a bit high-pitched, you can definitely detect it's a man supplying it at the tail end of said scream. (Or at least you can if you if you're fortunate enough to get your hands on the source track of this scream sans the "breaking bones" sound effect...) |
