Do you think booking a trip during the Anniversary year is going to be worth it.The Monsters Inc Attraction is not due to be open until the end of the Anniversary and all that has been officially annouced so far is the Treasures on Parade,Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and the Cirque du Soleil theatre.Except maybe the new parade nothing else in my opinion seems worth a trip especially unless there are other things that are being kept quiet!

I would guess that there would be a castle forecourt stage show and all sorts of other things going on for the 25th, even if they're all not yet announced. I suspect that whatever they will come up with will be worth a trip.

CdS also won't be ready for April 15 at present. The hotel will be in soft previews to select guests but won't welcome the first official guests until July.

Much like the 20th don't expect anything on the scale of the 15th. That said I'd rather OLC concentrate on doing a small roster of entertainment than have to endure temporary/seasonal shows like Gift of Dreams and Remember again.

The parade is pretty spectacular though and has a very clever concept. Can't wait to reveal it all later in the year! :-p

I guess that is all a matter of perception. The 20th totally underwhelmed me except for the parade. I wasn't surprised they had to resort to big giveaways to get people through the doors. It just didn't have the feeling of the 15th. TDS' 5th also did little for me except for Mythica (but I'm bias on that front). It all felt like too many little things (all those largely awful regional shows in each land) and two terrible concepts in Big Band Beat and Over the Waves. It lacked any big impact until Tower came along.

I would think that there will be pleanty other things going on. In addition to what you mentioned already, I'm looking forward to the decorations, merchandise, shows and entertainment, special meals, promitional giveaways, and on and on.

Also, depending on when you last visited, you might not have seen the new Dreamlights, POC, ToT, Sindbad make-over, etc.

I did Tower of Terror last year and will be back next month to checkout Dreamlights,Pirates and Sinbad.

The menu's,merchadise, decorations etc will be fun to look at and try and possibly even buy but you get that sort of stuff all year round for the various events and that.

The only thing thats got me the least bit excited is the new parade which I may just sit out and wait until after the Anniversary when the Monsters inc opens.

Oh well... at least you got a killer 20th anniversary watch out of the deal as I recall.. Besides, all of your hysterias aside, I am willing to bet my sweet rounded buns you will be there bright and early on April 15th, 2008. Who are you kidding?

You know I think you are right! Must admit that the 20th logo and the stuff that went with it has been my favourite to date anywhere. I really liked the design. I must admit I can't remember if we actually won the lottery watch or if we were given it. I know a very good friend gave me the Tinker Bell 20th silver watch (maybe that was the one that was part of the sweepstakes). I definitely won the pin set at least once. My favourite was the bronze Mickey that we bought though. Such a beautiful pose and a pretty low LE if I recall.

And yes...I will be there April 15. There isn't much in doubt about that.

The 15th anniversary having been my "official" introduction to Tokyo Disneyland, I must say I was VERY impressed! (and that "carnivale" music is SO catchy, and a fun parade, and the castle show...ahh, the memories!! GREAT stuff!)

They should just do that one over and over (every 5 years). :D

p.s. I'm surprised you liked the 20th anniversary parade, Lee. I kinda thought it sucked, personally.
