While books and websites have been very helpful in planning out our Tokyo itinerary, there isn't a plethera of Disney information, at least not in English. The official website has been very helpful in terms of what attractions & shows we can look forward to, and I assume as the Christmas holiday grows clsoer they will have more information on those festivities. Now I need help forming our "plan of attack." Are certain parks better to hit on certain days or certain times? What shows, attactions & dining experiences are must sees, or more importantly, a waste of time? We will be staying at the Ambassador & Mira Costa with 4 day passes. Thank you for the kind assistance!

And now I realize there is probably some additional information that could help. We will be at Disney December 16-21, and in the Parks the 17-20.

Alisserae, there actually IS a plethora of Disney information in English, and you have found it.

Right here, on the Laughingplace Tokyo Resort section!

I suggest you sift through all the old posts here, because most questions have been asked and answered many times, and I can't think of an instance where any question went unanswered. Lots of experts here!

After you browse the old posts, you can jump back in with any specific questions you have and I'm sure they'll be answered by myself or others who've been to TDR many many times! :)

Since you're visiting near Christmas, some general things to know are 1) it'll be very crowded in both parks...if you want to see any of the big Christmas shows you need to line up early (unless they have a lottery system...in early November you're sure to find more info on the specifics here so you'll know exactly where to go and what to do), 2) it will likely be pretty cold so plan for chilly weather though sunny, mild days are also possible, 3) with your four day pass you must chose one park the first day, the other park the second day, and you may park hop on days 3 and 4 though I would not recommend hoping too much since it eats up time, 4) your choice of days was very smart since weekends are brutal that time of year...I might suggest DisneySea on Monday because TDL is typically the least busy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays although being holiday season it'll still be pretty busy, 5) Must see for me are Pooh's Hunny Hunt at TDL (GET YOUR FASTPASS FIRST THING IN THE MORNING!!), and the usual other "magic kingdom" stuff, and at DisneySea Sindbad, Mermaid Lagoon Theater, Indy Jones, Stormrider, and Journey to the Center of the Earth...fastpass available for all but Sindbad (you won't need it...best place to go if there are long lines as you can almost ALWAYS ride within 15 minutes maximum).

That's all I can think of for now, but do sift through all the LaughingPlace Tokyo Resort posts of the past (usually the topic will sound similar to yours above) and feel free to ask any specific questions you may have! :D

Not quite. You must choose a single park for each of the first two days, but they can be the same park on both days if you like.

That's basic information that anyone remotely related/connected/familiar with/to TDR should know.

Like I said, I don't buy tickets. And even if I did, it would be a discounted "Chiba resident" ticket, never a parkhopper.

So why would I know that. Or better, why would I care?
