Topic: Starlight/ After 6 Passes??

1	DisneySkaGirl Fri 8/24/2007 2:50p	Could someone clarify what these are?? I was reading the website, and I'm not sure i understand. Are these for people arriving to the park in the eveings, or for everyone? Like will i need to purchase one in order to stay in the park at night? My fiance has planned a trip to Tokyo for September and would like to know how much it should cost to get into the park for about 3 days or so. Thanks!
2	trekkeruss Fri 8/24/2007 3:06p	It is the former; for people who come to the park in the afternoon. So no worries, you won't have to fork over any extra money to stay in the park. Enjoy your trip. :)
3	TDLFAN Fri 8/24/2007 7:34p	The "After 6" passport can only be used from 6pm until closing time. It's designed for guests who want to spend the evening time at the park. Likewise the "after 3 passport" offered on selected days... allows guests to enter the park from 3pm until closing time. Regular day ticket guests enjoy the park all day long, from opening morning time to evening closing time. This is not WDW, where they like to boot non-resorts guests off the parks to offer "extra magic hours". At TDR, ALL guests are treated respectfully and *equally*.
4	TDLFAN Fri 8/24/2007 7:42p	I want to clarify.. when I said up above.."After 3 Passport"... I meant the Starlight Passport, which is good for park admission from 3pm until closing. Also forgot to mention that the cost of a 3-day passport is currently 12,600 yen, which translates into about US$105 or so. It will allow you to spend ONE FULL day at TDL, ONE FULL day at TDS, and the third day will be a HOPPER DAY. Again, unlike WDW, there is NO park hoping on the first and second days of the multi-day passports, and there is no "Magic your way option" to buy a hopper benefit.
5	The Goddess Mara Sun 8/26/2007 3:48p	Whenever I've been to the resort, both parks were open until 10 pm. So, the After 6 ticket will give you four hours in one of the two parks, from 6 until closing. Depending upon the day, you can get quite a bit done in those four hours, or you can simply have dinner, walk around, and soak it all in. If it's your first time, you'll be pretty boggled by all of it and it's not a bad way to start a trip. Since I want to be on line at the gate 45 minutes before the park opens (you can't believe how much of a headstart this gives you), I usually leave before 10 pm and go to sleep.
6	WorldDisney Mon 8/27/2007 3:47a	I remember when I was a kid and did the 'after 5' tickets DL in Anaheim use to have occasionally. I miss those :(. Like everyone already said, just a reduced ticket for those who want to experience the park in the evening. I done it about 2 or 3 times at both parks and if its a quiet day, its GREAT to use as you can jump and do almost anything you want anyway (i.e. most popular). Now, if its BUSY, remember, its only 4 hours (the park closes 10 pm bascially all year regardless of high or low season. Its due to the train schedules so CM's can make it home considering some lives HOURS away), so don't expect to ride much and really just to enjoy a few of the shows and see the park at night because all the FP's WILL be gone and if its a really really busy day, some of the busier attractions still have 60 minute waits until the last hour of closing. So keep that in mind, but if you're going in September and will be there 3 full days anyway, probably no reason to use it anyway. But, like someone said, it IS a great way to introduce yourself to the park the first day if you get into Tokyo really late and do a few things before your tour or the resort really starts :).
