I don't agree X. I very much like DCA and think it beats out most of the offerings at WDW. But I agree it totally needs some work.

You are welcome to have your opinion, of course!

I put DCA sqarely at the "top" of the crappy parks. Better than Hong Kong Disneyland for sure. MUCH better than WDSP (but I know you disagree)...

Beyond that...I feel we must agree to disagree.

WDW has Epcot and Animal Kingdom, clearly we agree THOSE are superior. I would argue that MGM is superior as well, on the basis that they have more maxed out stuff like Star Tours (the exterior alone is worth the price of admission), the coaster (sorry, I've been on both...RnRC is better than the Mickey Loop Coaster and FAR less cheezy), Tower is a wash I guess, MGM has...er, well...wow.

Okay, you got me there. DCA might be better than MGM...but only slightly, and ONLY cause of the grizzly zone and the somewhat better theming in some places.

Magic Kingdom? Sorry. Can't buy that argument.

Only Hong Kong Disneyland fails miserably enough to not EVEN be as good as some other non-magic kingdom parks (and I'd ALSO list Hong Kong Disneyland as inferior to Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, and Universal Studios Japan...I would say the same for WDSP...but NOT for DCA (DCA beats the Universal stuff by a TINY bit...but definitely not USJ in any way shape or form).

Of course, as always, jmho. :)

I can honestly say I prefer DCA to the current MAgic Kingdom park. The MK is filthy, and really has fallen. And the live entertainment is virtually non existant. Given the choice between a day at the MK and a day at DCA, DCA wins.

And DCA is better than WDS. I just think WDS gets a bad rap. Once ToT opens, I will think it better than WDW's Studios or USO.

I think that's a huge stretch, Dave (the WDS part, I mean.

Boy, have you been mind-melding with TDLFAN or something? The Magic Kingdom is "filty"?

"filty"?

That, I do not believe.

In fact, it is neither filty NOR filthy!

I think it's sad that it takes a second person to state what I have been saying about the MK, and yet, YOU Mr. X still do not believe me. But hey.. I rest my case.

<<And I also have little patience for people who exaggerate to prove a point and, when challenged, say negative things about those who challenge them.>>

Thank you, The Goddess Mara. There's too much of that going on around LP lately. While I appreciate and respect the substance of your posts on this topic, I especially appreciate your willingness to confront the blustery bullying of other posters.

(FWIW, I've quietly admired your presence for a while.)

I certainly believe it has gone downhill, but no, I don't believe the place is "filthy".

I'd have to see that with my own eyes, because I've NEVER seen a Disney park that comes even remotely close to "filthy".

Oh well... maybe you really *NEED* to come to WDW and find out for yourself. Or better yet, go to DLParis on a busy day.

**But hey.. I rest my case**

Two opinions do not a rested case make. :)

However, I shall start a poll. Look for it shortly. :D
