Oh well, it's all moot now. |

That would make up over half the customer base.
"Just look at how well the ESPN ZONE does."
It's an entirely different sort of venue. That's a bad comparison. |

Yes, obviously some do. And when it comes to DCA, the rest is history.
>> It doesn't sound all that appealing to me <<
But the brilliant minds responsible for DCA apparently thought otherwise. Even in retrospect, with the Bistro long gone (and good riddance), some of those geniuses still may proclaim, "well, SOB was ambitious and enjoyable."
Merely another wonderful illustration that tight budgets were the least of all the problems facing DCA from Day One.

It was really a very good idea, too bad they punted on it. |

| Dabob2 Fri 9/14/2007 7:05a | Really? Six and a half long years later, you've got nothing more interesting than that to say? Wow.
Some people liked SOB, liked the concept, enjoyed interacting with the cm's, etc. You think it was a bad idea. Fine. But you insist that your opinion is simply the truth. That's arrogant and pretentious in the extreme, like your posts in general.
Me, I have no real opinion because I never saw the place or ate there (and unless you say differently, I don't think you did either).
But I would never insist that my opinion was "the" opinion that one must hold. |

| Dabob2 Sat 9/15/2007 4:21p | Once again an illustration that you lack the ability to respond to what is actually written here (for instance, not even addressing whether you actually saw the place or not), and merely fall back on the same motheaten 4 or 5 stock phrases that passed their shelf life circa 2002.
And still actually think that's clever. |
