| ChurroMonster Mon 9/3/2007 3:44a | So we've got (according to rumor): --The Little Mermaid ride --Ratatouille coaster --Philharmagic replacing Muppets --Cars ride based on Test Track --train ride on and around Grizzly Peak
That's five. What else is coming bean? |

Muppets was ten years old when it opened in DCA. Will it be the same for Philharmagic? Honey, I Shrunk the Audience was more popular than planned at Journey Into Imagination. Not so much in Tomorrowland.

Either have an entrance designed to look like a mine shaft (there are already several of those all around it)or just make it look like a building next to the mountain (like the gift shop in Condor Flats or the winery) that just opens up to a space inside the mountain. I know they have the pumps and pipes for the GRR water in there, but I would be willing to bet that there is a lot more room in there for at least a theater of some sort or small attraction (darkride?). I know the last thing that park needs right now is more shops or restuarants, but they could move some in there (Taste Pilots, Farmer's Market, part of the Winery) to make room for attractions in their place.
It's a huge structure, and right now, it's really not being used for much. Looking at Mt Prometheus at TDS, you would never imagine that it holds an entier land with two really large attractions, but they all seem to fit quite comfortably inside it. I know that GP isn't nearly as big, but there is certainly space for more inside, considering that almost none of GRR is using that area for the ride itself. |

I still wish they put this in toontown instead, but oh well.
And I've got big doubts about the trainride around grizzley peak. It's not THAT big and there really isn't a lot of room to work with. It sounds like it might be a big expense for a rather short ho-hum ride.
And speaking of 'hum', in my more fretful moods I worry about the incessant drone of testtrak type vehicles buzzing around DCA. Anybody who's ever stood anywhere near testtrak in WDW knows exactly what I'm talking about. Or even if you were ever nearby the 'rocket rods' in their day.
We don't really know much of anything about the 'cars' attraction, but I hope they're able to address the noise factor. |

| bean Mon 9/3/2007 9:49p | There is more room in grizzley peake area tahn what most people think. The same goes for Condor flats.
Besides the attractions that are already leaked
philharmagic little mermaid ratatouille Carland
there are a couple more attractions that would replace other less popular ones due to their aesthetic appearance or popularity.
There are also "E" tickets being considered and in somekind of planning stage for Paradise pier, Condor Flats, Hollywood picture backlot and grizzley peake.
Carland is suppose to have more than one attraction. The largest being "CARS" with the test track system.
There will also be plenty of space left in the timon lot as well as other areas of the park for future expansion.
