Anyway, while its great there are TEN attractions coming, it sounds like 90% of them will be based on a cartoon of some kind. This kind of bothers me, especially considering when the park first opened, ironically 90% of them were reality based. Yes, I know most of that sunk, but it just seems like now they are overcompensating for it, but hell they been overcompensating since year one.
I just hope ONE of those attractions are really California based, something that deals with the 'history, culture or people' of Califonia. Will there be one Bean? |

| TDR_Fan Mon 9/3/2007 11:12p | It seems they are trying very hard to find loose connecting themes for concepts that have nothing to do with California (Ratatouille and Little Mermaid for example). And how many Pixar attractions will that make once all this is completed? Let's see, Bug's Land, Monsters, Inc...oh just about one from every film except the Incredibles and Finding Nemo (which can be found next door). While I enjoy the Pixar films, I think this is a bit much. |

| ni_teach Tue 9/4/2007 8:34a | of the proposed projects:
--The Little Mermaid ride --Ratatouille coaster --Philharmagic replacing Muppets --Cars ride based on Test Track --train ride on and around Grizzly Peak
I think that we will see Philharmagic first and that it will happen unlike some of these others which may not happen. (This is a guess on my part)
Mainly because of the cost and the speed in which this project can be done. It's fairly easy to take out and remodel the Muppets theater compared to say a "cars" ride. |

| bean Tue 9/4/2007 11:50a | well its not unusual to have fill in attractions at the "b" "c" and "d" level to be characters based attractions. |

| bean Tue 9/4/2007 11:56a | the project for the first five years is pretty much already set in stone. Meaning that the overal project is divided into two five year plans. After the first five years are done and over then te next five year plan would take effect.
That second plan is still being developed.
The first five years will address the entrance, the pier and Carland |
