Kayoss... I showed up at the Aquasphere at 6:45pm walked around looking for you, and finally gave it up after 5-10 mins. Too bad you didn't have the pleasure. I would have waited longer but my time was very limited and I had an agenda of things to do...therefore I left. Maybe we'll meet sometime soon. Somewhere...

Mr X, you have email to read.

Well... seems to me Kayoss needs to be more punctual... otherwise, he would have had a great evening in my company.

I will abstain, thank you very much. I don't need to rehash the reality of the MK or justify some dumb tourist from the midwest or midsouth's opinion on "how lovely and clean the park is since I only go there every 5 yrs anyways... and even a dirty MK is heaven compared to hicktown USA..."

<< Well... seems to me Kayoss needs to be more punctual... otherwise, he would have had a great evening in my company. >>

I'll take that you're being sarcastic. But something kinda cut to the core in this statement.

I had an awesome time with Magical Nezumi the night before. I found her to be warm, funny, kind... and it was fun to have someone to talk to in English and share enthusiasm for DisneySea (not to mention lend a caring ear.) It's really rare to see that kind of kindness.. and I just wanted to thank her again. Sometimes you just need people around you.

Of course, it's always a surprise to me when I do meet people from message boards and I've had a good time (and it's nothing personal)... but it's a risk to some of us to even meet in person (due to our connections with certain companies).

That said, there had just been a Typhoon in Tokyo, and all the trains were behind schedule and messed up (a thing almost unheard of in Japan.) They were messed up and delayed for 3 days, at least coming from the direction (further north) where I was staying. I had said to Magical N that I hoped to meet her at a certain time, which I couldn't make due to work back in LA that I needed to take care of from my hotel. But I called her (through Skype) and kept her up-to-date anyhow. That's called courtesy.

What's not really courtesy (or decency) is saying you were there any longer then 5 minutes, or really had an intention of meeting up at all. I arrived exactly 7 minutes late to the park... due to the JR train being delayed. In fact, rather then take the Resort Liner, I RAN from Mihama station to the front gate of DisneySea, which shaved off a whole 7 minutes itself as I had just seen a monorail leave Resort Gateway station.

The short story is: I actually tried really hard to meet up with someone I didn't know... at a really venerable time in my life. I really have only myself to blame... I shouldn't expect anything... but, responses to my character without having even met me, that's really messed up.

Upon my arrival at DisneySea (7 minutes late).... I walked around and around... for at least a half hour...looking for someone I didn't know... and actually felt depressed. Like I had been ditched or something. Here I had tried really hard to meet someone who I had appreciated on the boards, being thousands of miles away from home, and this person didn't even care enough to wait a full 10 minutes! If time was an issue, why even say you could meet someone? That's awfully arrogant (and I work in LA!). And yeah, it actually made me depressed... until I realized I was in... well, DisneySea.... and let's just say it melts away any bad feelings after about an hour. (Kind of like Brandy mixed with Vicoden... but a lot healthier.)

In the future.... wait for the call before you complain about the lack of it. I used to be like that... so I'd know. Trust me, it feels much better when you do.

<<I had an awesome time with Magical Nezumi the night before. I found *her* to be warm, funny, kind...>>

I'm sorry, 'her'? Is this the same 'person' I know and met or someone different? If so, I guess I'm not the only one that had a sex change this summer ;D.

Well despite a few issues, glad you had a great time.

And btw, don't worry about TDLFAN, sometimes he's just a big baby about these things ;D. I don't think there was any illwill from EITHER of you, those things just happen.

Wow. I would say it's very rude, if you've actually made plans to meet someone, to wait no more than 5 minutes!

VERY rude.

Heck, sometimes I have to wait 2+ hours for Mr. SorryI'mLate, aka WorldDisney. ;)

By the way, are there two MagicalNezumi's or something?

I'm sorry I wrote this now. I assumed it was just a casual "maybe we'll see each other" situation, not an actual "let's meet at 6:45 at the Aquasphere" thing.

No laughing matter at all, that was very rude and I hope TDLFAN will apologize for that! >:(
