1	TDLFAN Wed 9/5/2007 7:58a	Well..here I am in Tokyo tonight and nowhere to go tomorrow since typhoon #6 will be passing west of Tokyo and forecast calls for rain and windy conditions. So my TDS visit tomorrow has been cancelled.

3	TDLFAN Thu 9/6/2007 8:40a	Well, I escaped the typhoon by hours. We left Narita at 7pm and here I am in Hong Kong... Going to HKDL tomorrow afternoon for a little while. Hopefully I will make it to TDR on saturday afternoon... we'll see.

5	TDLFAN Fri 9/7/2007 6:57a	Well... I would take HKDL, and honestly, I had a great time this afternoon at the parkover there.. and much to my surprise, the place was actually busy for a friday.
6	The Goddess Mara Fri 9/7/2007 6:33p	If you have expectations in line with visiting a small park that you can complete in less than a day's time, then you can enjoy a visit to Hong Kong Disneyland. It certainly beats the hell out of Walt Disney Studios Paris. Even with the two new rides, I can't imagine much can be done with the Paris park in the short term. Hong Kong, though, has enormous potential.

It was a particularly nasty one overnight! Lots of minor damage all around, luckily nothing major that I've heard about (the weather now is clear and HOT, once again...I'm pretty much over this summer heat!).
8	TDLFAN Sat 9/8/2007 8:14a	I felt like Bette davis doing my inflight announcements just before take off as the typhoon neared Narita.. "Fasten your seat belts! It's going to be a bumpy night!" Anyways.. just got back from TDR. Both parks were packed today... maybe a preview of what the Fall season and Xmas will be like? Some of the Halloween decor at TDL is already up and on diaplay. The Mickey decor in the center of the Hub is FABULOUS! and I only got to see a portion of it that was uncovered! Likewise, TDS' has started their decor for the A La carte event... and some of it is gorgeous... like the Pinnochio tinted windows in the cafe Portofino... The TDL Hotel construction continues.. Did you guys know the front of the hotel (porte cochere/main lobby entrance) faces the JR Train tracks and the side facing the TDL park is the backside of the hotel? I also like the fact that the TDL Hotel is getting the same paintjob the TDL Cinderella castle got last year. Gorgoous! Finally, it was quite windy tonight and the fireworks got cancelled. BraviSEAmo! performed in it's "weather" version... Photos from tonight at TDR (and yesterday at HKDL) coming in a few days.. if you all behave.
