We're going to Mickey's Halloween treat with our 2 and 5 year old kids and was wondering if we'd look like dorks if we dressed up ourselves. Do grown-ups usually dress up too or would we be the minority? We have great Peter Pan and Wendy costumes we paid a lot of $ for a couple of years ago and this seems like the perfect place to wear them again. BUT don't want to be the only ones.
What do you think?

Yes there are lots of adults who dress up - there are groups who come in disney themes -
We have seen in themes
Alice in Wonderland
Nightmare Before Christmas
Peter Pan
Snow White (this was homemade costumes for the seven dwarf's and it was awesome)
The Incredibles

I will be Malifecent this year and my daughter will be Sleeping beauty - trying to convince my 11 year old son to be the prince...

It is fun and the year I didn't wear a costume (first year) I felt like the odd person out!

Oh good! Now to convince my husband to don the Peter Pan costume again. It doesn't even have tights, don't know what he's being such a big baby about. No one will know who I am without him!
The kids will be Punky Brewster and Charlie Brown so I hope people know who my daughter is!

We are in our 50's and DH is wearing the full Goofy outfit sold on DisneyShopping. I will be wearing a Mickey pumpkin puffy hat and a Halloween T.

I'd say 50% of the adults dress up, probably more. Especially if you have kids in tow, I say have fun and dress up:) You will not be the only ones, trust me!

Be sure to have some pictures taken!

Yes, we decided to dress up last year and were so happy we did. I mean, that is part of the special fun, adults being *allowed* to wear costumes. It really adds to the atmosphere.
