| gottaluvdavillains Fri 10/12/2007 1:17p | That's the exact reason we do soccer - I already told DD9 she can cheer for the local no-cut football league but not for the pop-warner type league. This is the same reason we don't to high-comp soccer. With 4 kids and a husband in a band if we did the travel sports we would never be home (or have time for DL ;P) |

My DD7 participated in pop warner for a week last year and the league here was so incompetent with the cost of extras and the schedule I pulled her out before the season started. This year she is in the local league and this is the only game that we have to travel for. It has been a good experience for us. Another year and a half and I will be busy like you since DS4 wants to play tee ball. |

| Tinkerbell819 Fri 10/12/2007 2:50p | Hey girls, I'm late today. I am about to cook some junk for dinner soon and wanted to pop in before the weekend hits and on one is online. I don't envy you having to get up so early on BOTH days of the weekend, villains. I hope you can at least have a mudslide or two to relax. Hopefully, this weekend doesn't feel as bad as last weekend, when you hadn't made contact w/HER yet. That was really weighing on your mind, I'm sure. Speaking of mudslides, I like to buy the cheapo versions of Bailey's Irish Cream and pour them in the blender with ice cubes. I've never actually had a real mudslide! I don't know if I've told all of you about my DS that doesn't allow us to have any beverages, he's the one with the bad OCD. So, it's really tricky trying to have anything to drink w/him around. He grabs the cups and pours the contents down the drain (or worse, on the floor!) So, if I want a frozen Bailey's or something while I'm watching 48 hours on Sat. nights, I have to cover it with a blanket. Sometimes, I just lock the door and soak in the tub with one. ;)
Mickeynewe said <<until I got tired of all the weirdos walking in off the street and decided I was done notarizing>> That's funny b/c 2 weeks ago, a guy called me and wanted me to notarize his dead friend's signature on his car title. lol "Sure, buddy, I'd like to spend a few years behind bars, it sounds peaceful." :)
The weather really cooled off here yesterday. It rained a lot yesterday and today was breezy and chilly. I baked 3 loaves of pumpkin bread. We're down to 1 1/2 already. I hope we at least have some left for breakfast.
I hope MM and DD are having fun! Good luck with all of your weekend activities!! |

You can go to BevMo.com and enter TGIF in the search and up pops the mudslides, orange dream, and pina colada. My SIL like the pina colada, but I am not a coconut fan - but I love the other two!! Gotta luv the fact you can order your alcohol delivered straight to your house :) !! I will be checking in over the weekend - hope everyone has a good weekend. |

| mater4 Sat 10/13/2007 11:14a | Lucky you Villians. I just got home from DD game. I've been up since 4:30am. I think I will take a nap now. Our football team lost again. No rain here. Stay dry and enjoy your mudslides. When is MM due back from her trip today? |

| mickeynewe Sat 10/13/2007 3:06p | She's due back today? Wow, that was a quick trip!
If you've been up since 4:30 a.m. you deserve a nap! *hands over a pillow and blankie*
I talked my hubby into taking me to do some Christmas shopping today. Got my dad taken care of, picked up a few things for my daughter. She's getting a "big" present this year so the rest of it will be a little limited. I have all my nieces taken care of. Usually I'm done by now and already wrapping--- but I'm getting there. I hate the holiday crowds and shopping at the last minute

| mater4 Sat 10/13/2007 5:57p | Thanks for the pillow and blankie, Mickey. I feel much better now. Yes, MM gets back sometime this evening. She better check in soon.:) I can't believe you are normally done shopping for xmas by now. I have not even thought about it yet. Sometimes I am a procrastinator especially when it comes to that. |
