Villians so happy you have a new computer. It is always nice to have something new especially when it is a computer. Glad youe are a last minute packer like me. As for the rooms still thinking about it. Too many things have come between me and the decorating of the rooms. As soon as I get more info on my truck getting fix I will try to move forward with the task.

Mon 10/29/2007 4:14p | mickey...ditto on the house envy. My dream home would be a Queen Anne Victorian. I actually was about to buy one once, but my ex nixed the idea. He demanded acreage and a big shop. So, that's where we wound up. No regrets, but I love turn of the century homes.
My DH loves brownies, too...who's bakin'?
RT...glad to know someone else here buys all new stuff before a trip. Man, isn't it so much easier? You shop a good sale, and it really doesn't cost that much.
I will attest to the fact that mickey tried pushing all of my buttons on the day that I promised to be nice. No matter how hard she tried, I didn't cave in. It was the worst 24 hours of my life, but I did it. I think she paid dearly the next day, though.
I forgot to tell you about our tragedy of friday afternoon. DD got dumped by her first "real" boyfriend. She was feelin' pretty down, but after the "Men are Pigs" speech and a Hershey bar, we had a good laugh or two. She said that she was too good for him anyway. She called me from school today and said that she pitched all his things from her locker onto the floor. She's gonna be one tough babe. Of course, being 13 she already has her sights on her next victim...I mean boyfriend. Someone named Diego Rodriguez. Poor kid. |

Mon 10/29/2007 4:51p | MM - this is where my life will be a little easier - My DD has 3 big brothers and they measure her shorts and check the tightness - leggings or tights must be worn with dresses or skirts...She's not even allowed to think about "blossoming"....Poor thing!!
Tink is making brownies today - probably why she's not chiming in - all that chocolate!!!
Mater no room choices yet - hmmm a bit of a procrastinator huh - gotta luv that!!! I am really bad about that, I have about 30 (not an exageration) boxes of clothes to put on ebay...started taking the picts last night!!!
We have a ranch style house - sort of - it started out 50 years ago as a ranch - we are only the 3rd owner, the last owner lived her 38 years and we have been here 9 years the garage was converted to a living room then another bedroom was added next to that an enclosed patio was added and a single car garage!! What was once a L shaped ranch is now kind of sortof a J shape... |

Aw...poor DD13. That must have been hard for her. Your first broken heart is never easy. My DD14 thinks you shouldn't date until Junior Year. LOL, let's see how far along into high school this lasts! I'm rather curious to see how long this line of thinking plays out.
Gotta, your daughter is sooo not going to like that when she gets older!

Mon 10/29/2007 7:28p | villians, i missed the loud bang near my house- well, about 8 miles down the road anyway. did you see it on the national news? a solvent material warehouse had an explosion and then a major fire near des moines. we are just north of there. thank goodness nobody was hurt. it's too dark now but the accident happened at about 1.30p and i could still see the major smoke at dark. probably nothing compared to the forest fires in southern cal, but still eerie.
ahhh, young love. remember the butterflies and how you couldn't eat because you were so in love? gee, i haven't tried that diet technique yet. maybe there is a new fad somewhere there. i truly so love my dh but it's that more mature ( known as maybe less passionate love). anyway, mollysmom, how good she can share this with you. and how awesome you could be there for her! dumping all the other persons stuff out. where have i heard something like that before? villians, have you checked your front step lately?(snicker..snicker) |

1 cup flour
1 cup of sugar
1 stick of butter (melted)
4 eggs
1 can of herseys chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon of vanilla
nuts optional(not your friends and family kind)
melt butter and stir in eggs. add vanilla and herseys chocolate
in a seperate bowl combine the flour and sugar.
add the 2 bowls together and stir unitl well mixed. mix in nuts in amounts desired.
pour out onto a greased and floured cookie pan. (depending on how thick you want your brownies will depend on how big of a pan you will want to use.)
bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
may sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired after baking. |

Mon 10/29/2007 7:44p | I have checked...I am expected a check for the rest of the money Friday!! Problem is there is no school friday and we were looking at going to Monterey!! Oh well DS18 will be here as he has an interview with Kohls on friday so he can't go with us!! I will be contacting HER daughter's father after I get my next money order - I have a SD card she gave me that I found out she stole out of his drawers when he took her "perscription" Funny with all the pain I was in with my tooth before my trip I would have never thought to take anything more than Advil!!
We have gone back and really put some thought into it - We figured HER took DS18's vicatin when he had two teeth pulled 2 years ago and DS16's vicatin last year when his wisdom teeth were pulled! The boys and my DH had suspected it all along and after my mom's went missing after she needed a "tour" of my mom's house they were sure of it!!! HER even faked that time of the month to use my bathroom (guests usually use the main bathroom which has no female supplies) and my DH noticed all the percription bottles were moved around!! SO sad!! |

Mon 10/29/2007 7:54p | villians- i don't know about the chocolate. i am a female mutant because i don't really like chocolate. strange but, true! i usually make this for tailgate parties and for our christmas brownie cook off. my dh family likes to make brownies and have all the kids judge them for the best. probably not the smartest thing to do-fill all the youngsters up on sugar and chocoalte- but hey, i don't have to take any of them home. meaning hyped up kids. come to think of it i usually don't have any brownies to take home either. |
