| TXDISNEYNERD Wed 10/31/2007 6:37a | Well, I guess I am not doing the bash because I haven't been a member of LP long enough. Oh well.
Villians - You will have to let us know how the parade goes at school. Hopefully, HER won't cause a scene.
I heard about the earthquake. I hope everyone is doing okay.
I hope everyone has a happy halloween. rt - I can't wait to hear all the good jokes. I was telling my kids about that last night and they thought that was the coolest tradition. What is everyone dressing up as? My DD1 is going to be Minnie Mouse.
Mickey - If you are tempting us with brownies, I might have to go and get shopping. I love brownies! It is just really hard for me to do too much before Black Friday as that is such a shopping tradition with me. TQ - you will have to let us know how your shopping goes.

| mickeynewe Wed 10/31/2007 8:24a | So excited, had hubby pick up a gift for our daughter! She really wanted Microsoft Office's latest version but wouldn't ask for it because it was too much $$$ Well, what she doesn't know is that they sell a student version, same exact software, for a fraction of the cost. I'm going to have one happy camper this year when she opens her presents!
TX-- How about starting your shopping a little early, and just saving a few people for Black Friday? That way you still have your tradition, without ALL the stress of having to buy for everyone! It truly is much more relaxing and makes the holiday so much nicer.
Villians, I think you need a roll of duct tape! Don't let HER ruin your Halloween or your daughters. Our thoughts are with you!
To everyone, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! |

| MOLLYSMOM Wed 10/31/2007 9:15a | Boo!!!!! Did I scare ya???
villains & mickey...when I heard on the way to w**k this a.m. about the earthquake, I thought about you guys. Glad to hear that all is fine with you. I'm feeling a bit confident that you will have your money from HER this week...I think she gets the idea that you're not messing around about this.
Once we get villains' "friend" situation resolved, I have a similar one to share with you all. Mine will come to a head on the weekend of the 16th, but it has been brewing since June. I can't wait to deal with this "friend."
villains...TQ said that we would be with you "in spirit" today, but not the drinkin' kind....she's new...you know that I WILL be with you in BOTH the drinking and non-drinking spirit, right? Mudslides for everyone!!!!!!!
mickey...look at how well our holiday shoppers are doing! We have got some converts from the "Dark Side" headed to our way of thinking. I think the final hold-out will be tink, though.
I decided to make some jammies for the granddaughters, and that SHOULD wrap it up for me. I'll whip those up tonight while I'm watching my spook show. It will help keep me awake since it's on until 3 a.m. I found a few gifts stashed under my bed that I forgot I had gotten, so I must admit that I still have a bit of wrapping to do. I would have finished that up, but my tape ran out in "mid wrap".
TX...what the heck do you mean that you haven't been a member long enough to join the Bash????? There's rules to who can join???? What if we e-mail Inspector 57 and vouch for your worthiness???
Poop on it...the 9 of us can have our own holiday extravaganza if we want. Speaking of NINE of us...where is MMW???
So, tonight will be a quiet Halloween for us. We NEVER get trick or treaters, of course. We used to take DD into town to beg for candy, but she hung up her punkin' bucket this year for good. A friend of mine that lives in town will be alone tonight, so she invited DD to spend the night with her and hand out candy to the little kids. DD thinks that will be great fun.
I have my spook show tonight and the jammies to do, and DH plans on falling asleep in his chair by 9...pretty exciting stuff.

| mickeynewe Wed 10/31/2007 9:57a | Aw, I love watching horror movies. I'd love joining your fright-fest, but these days I can't hang until 3 am and work the next day. Well, I could-- but the results could be interesting! :P
Hubby hates them! However, he very patiently let me watch Dracula 2000 last night while he cruised the internet. This morning while getting ready for work I happily watched Halloween (3?) Not sure which one.
You just HAVE to love a good spooky movie, especially on Halloween!
My girl is still dressing up. I think her and her best friend are taking her best friend younger brother and his friends out. Yeah, any excuse for those girls to still dress up! :D My daughter made her own costume this year-- a rag doll. I helped her to create her yarn wig last night. That was pretty fun! She looked really cute, mismatched, but cute.
Hey, maybe Tink and I can hook you up with some links to some costumes? I'm sure you'll hubby will stay awake then! hehehe We've come across some interesting ones while trying to find Alice in Wonderland. |

| Tinkerbell819 Wed 10/31/2007 10:11a | Happy Halloween, everyone! I just got back from food shopping and I bought some BROWNIES!! They look really good, too, the kind with the frosting! MM, when I got on-line there was a Ding msg. from SWA and they have airfare from Spokane to ONT for $54 each way the 1st 2 weeks of Dec! Good deal! You only have until 5PM to purchase.
TX, I'm mad that you can't participate in the bash. I'm still on the fence and was almost ready to go ahead, then I saw your post. I was thinking how much more fun it would be to bring something in from the mailbox that wasn't a bill.
MN, I'm glad everything was okay after the earthquake! My Goodness! Scary! I'm going to cut you some slack for trying to lure TX over to the "Dark Side" b/c you were shaken up. But, after today, I don't want to see anymore of that sneaky behavior.
I'm anxious to hear how Villains Halloween parade was today. MM has a good "friend" story coming, too!
I forget all of the other stuff I wanted to catch up on. I have a witch to glue back together and haven't found the glue yet and I still have groceries to unpack and candy bags to get ready. I can't concentrate! lol
I'll see you all a little later...heh, heh, heh,

| TXDISNEYNERD Wed 10/31/2007 10:19a | Mickey - That is so cool about your DD present. I love finding that perfect gift that you know the person will just go crazy for. I do need to really get started on my shopping.
MM - Thanks for vouching for my worthiness. It's okay. We can have our own festivities. I can't wait to hear your "friend" story.
Doesn't MMW know she needs to check in with us? That w**k stuff can wait. She needs to get her priorities in order. :) |

| MerryMouseWife Wed 10/31/2007 10:37a | I'm here! Catching up from the past 2 long days at w**k. Monday 11.5 hours and Tuesday 10.5 hours - blech! Good news is that I now have just a regular day and it's Halloween! Booo!
I heard about the earthquake and wondered about everyone. Good to hear that no one got too shook up.
I usually buy jammies for the girls from Old Navy, but maybe I will actually get out the sewing machine and make some flannel jammie pants. Maybe not, too, because I really don't like to sew. I made Halloween costumes this year, youngest DD actually made her own with help from me. Yaay! Middle DD wanted the skirt that Christine wears in Phantom of the Opera, which is a full, multi-tiered skirt. Ugh! Gathering, gathering, gathering! After all is said and done, it looks fabulous.
So, tonight is a ton of driving the kids hither and yon to parties and passing out candy.
Let's see....oh yeah. Christmas shopping. Going to get some of it done this weekend, and wrapped. The past 2 Christmas' we have given iPods to the oldest 2 DDs. So this year is the youngest's turn. She knows she is probably going to get one, but I like to hide it and make it a surprise. Last year was a great surprise for 2nd DD. She did not think she got her iPod because present after present came and went and no iPod. The very last one was a the actual box it was mailed in but I had hidden the iPod in the package of underwear from Old Navy. She was so surprised that she actually started crying. Oldest DD had hers hidden in the Christmas tree and never even saw it until I nonchalantly asked what was stuck in the branches. More tears. So, I need to think of how I am going to hoodwink youngest DD. She is a very sharp cookie and very little gets past her. hmmmmmm......thinking - thinking.....
So what is this Bash all about and why are some not "eligible?" I would rather that those of us who will be there the last week of November meet up for a little bit (I would love to hang out, but hubby might get miffed since this IS our 2nd honeymoon) and place faces with names. If we do, let's make sure we have pictures together and of our families. How about it? Talk it over with your respective families. And we will remember those who can't be there and ride our favorite attraction at least once in their name. How's that sound?

| MOLLYSMOM Wed 10/31/2007 10:46a | tink...off to check out Southwest. I should stay away, but $54 is possibly too good to pass up. Darn you, anyway.
TX...didn't we already have to give MMW a talking to about not checking in? Speaking of that, where's mater?
Yes, you girls will like my "friend" story. Mine involves a HIM, not a HER. I'm actually looking foreward to the showdown on the 16th...I've been waiting months for it. It takes a ton to get me mad, but when I blow I am quite brutal. HIM doesn't even know what's in store for him, but he did ask DH last week if I was mad. Fool. |

| gottaluvdavillains Wed 10/31/2007 10:57a | MM - don't you love it when THEY know they have jumped up and down on the last bit of friendship you were holding on to and then wonder if you are mad...Yeah right the correct question would be HOW made are you at them.... HER sent me an email trying to put some of this off on my DS18 - HER said she called and talked to him and asked him to have me call - well DUH I was standing there when she called and had no desire whatsoever to talk to HER... She insinuated she knew many things about me that DS18 filled HER in on that if I didn't watch it she would spill the beans on - so I thought about it and yep she could tell everyone that I am a (you might want to cover your eyes) a pack rat and don't clean house everyday!! I don't beat my children and sometimes I don't do my laudery for a few days!!! Okay you can open your eyes!!! Oh and on the weekends I do enjoy a drink or three.... That would just be the things not everyone would not already know...the short, fat, and disney obsessed is obvious....
We will see what happens on Friday!! |

| MOLLYSMOM Wed 10/31/2007 11:00a | tink...what's the trick? Went to Southwest, but it comes up $83 one way, not $54. Not that $83 is bad, but it's not $54. With the fees and such, the total is $219.60 per person. Something to ponder. |
