| TXDISNEYNERD Wed 10/31/2007 11:35a | Villians - So how did the parade go. Did HER behave HERself? I can't believe she is dragging your DS in this now. Before it was your DD. It seems like it is everyone else's fault but HERS.
I like to keep a clean house, but generally with a husband, 3 kids and 2 dogs, it tends to be impossible these days. Luckily, my DD17 really is big help in that department. Sometimes a little too much. One time I was in the process of cooking dinner and I had a sauce on the stove, I went to get something out of the refridgerator and when I got back to the stove, my pot was gone. My DD was there washing it.
Mater - you better not be off Christmas shopping. I'm going to be left behind in the dust.
All of you guys that are going to be there together definitely need to take a picture. I am jealous that I can't be there. I will be there in spirit. |

| Tinkerbell819 Wed 10/31/2007 11:42a | Oh, and Villains, I'm SHOCKED and I just can't "talk" to you anymore! Imagine letting the laundry go for a day or two! Ugh! I cannot associate with such a slob. (Glad that no one can see what MY house looks like...) |

| gottaluvdavillains Wed 10/31/2007 12:00p | So the Parade was nice - no sign of HER...DS stayed in the car but said he would come to my rescue if need be...HD just glared at me?? I guess when you choose to share too much info with a 9 year old it must really be confusing!!
MM - will be searching out tickets for that weekend just because she is soooooo jealous that we all will be there and she won't =P
TX - I like a clean house also, but I have come to the conclusion that I am not the maid - a stay at home mom is not the kid's maid...With 4 kids it seems like the harder I work to keep the house clean, the sloppier they become.... I do the basics but now I am trying harder to make the kids help out...Hubby and I decided this was a better way to do it since I won't be moving out with them and they weren't learning anything by me doing it all. This has been very hard for me - as it's much easier to do it all before they get home - but I think they thought the cleaning fairy just comes into the house and magicaly picks up everything they drop...Kind of like the Homework fairy that is suppose to finish the homework they "forgot" about!!!
Well better go do some of that laundry piling up!!! |

| mater4 Wed 10/31/2007 1:01p | I promise I am not out shopping. Housew**k has taken up my morning and to think my house is still a mess. I will be home most of the day waiting for an insurance adjusters phone call. Villians I hope your son gets the job that suits him. (does he get free coffee at starbucks?) That could benefit you. :) Just say no to early shopping. That will be my new campaign. Glad the halloween parade went well. Glad everyone is ok after the earthquake. I am originally from Eureka,Ca and remember those all too well. You got rocked with it being over 5.0. The Bash thing rules say you have to be a member of LP for 6 months or something like that. I just could not commit the amount of time it requires. MM if you can get a good fare make your first day on the 28 of Nov. That is if you crack under the pressure. |

| TXDISNEYNERD Wed 10/31/2007 1:07p | Tink - What is DING?
Villians - I am glad the parade was nice. My DS13 still believes in the cleaning fairy and the homework fairy. I am scared to venture in his room and I have to monitor his grades on the internet and constantly stay on him about his homework. My kids also believe money grows on trees. <g> |

| gottaluvdavillains Wed 10/31/2007 1:11p | Mater - I get there on the 28th - my mom is trying to figure out when she's coming down - she thought the CM tickets she got were multiday (I knew better). She called her bro (who got the tix for her) and they are one day each, so she is now thinking she will come down on friday with my DS18 and maybe DS16 - but she is thinking she will leave my cousin 8 home so she can use both tickets - I know how mean cousin already thinks she is going and is all excited about it. So either my hubby has to drive down with her for the weekend and find something to do (he doesn't like DL) or she has to drive my Excursion down (she's never driven it and she's 4'10" and even me being 5"2" it's not easy to drive for a long time)...So with all that I am thinking I will fly down - I can fly on Jet Blue from Oakland to Long Beach for $40 each on Wed at 2 - DS11 has never been on a plane and really wants us to fly down. I am at the Islander - I have tried to find rooms closer - but I don't have Bret's map on my new computer and the old computer isn't hooked up right now - maybe after this weekend!! When do you head back home from DL?? |

| mickeynewe Wed 10/31/2007 1:26p | Ugh, you guys are really making me want to go to DL...and Villians, how can your hubby NOT like DL? Thank goodness my hubby likes it as much as my DD and me!
TX-- ding is a program you download from Southwest. Input your "home" airport and it will deliver daily specials just for you. Sometimes, rarely, you will get a special for $29 to fly to DL! Gotta love those rates!! (although we always drive) I still love seeing the specials tho.
Oh, btw--- two more packages delivered today by UPS and they are wrapped and ready for the tree *big grin*
