Villians tomorrow is a big day. First we are hoping to hear from HER and MM will have her story about HIM.
MMW all I have to say is Yuck! about the shoes. When I replace my flooring I will make sure shoes come off at the door. I have already placed a no food rule in the bedrooms. Is there anything else I should know about? I have spent almost all of my day at a cheer competition (yawn). DD team did well but did not place. She was disappointed but there is always next year. I am now going to read my sunday paper and relax since I woke up at 6am. Have a good sunday. |

Accused of sending nasty emails (they were all very none emotional - almost business like) and hounding her for the money - which she now says she can pay me in $350 incraments(sp)...
She in all caps mentions the ring - which I point out still was the wrong size (which is why it was delayed from the start) and not even close to the two rings I had showed her I liked - when I took it to Kays they said they weren't sure if it was from Kays and the sapphire was fake!!! Hmmmm I think I got a Walmart ring! |

Sun 11/4/2007 3:50p | Mater, we have a no-eating-in-the-bedrooms rule as well. I have tile throughout the house except for the bedrooms so shoes are not as much an issues as new carpet would be. I hope to replace the carpet in the bedrooms with either Pergo or hardwood, if we can swing that. I don't like carpet at all. I would rather chase dustbunnies all day then know that all that dirt is in my carpet. Ewwww.

Villians, hope your house cleaning went well. I got my wish, and although my house is even messier now, my hubby helped me clean out some of the clutter that had been accumlulating. Now, I just have to work on getting everything cleaned up and the mess put back to order. But, I have all week for that. Not much else to do anymore after work, might as well get that done.
I have to say I'm not surprised your saga continues. I didn't expect much from HER. It is a shame you have to deal with someone like that in your life.
I hope that MM is getting her day in the sun. I must say, I wouldn't want to be the one to get on her bad side!
Just a reminder to all, we all have things in our lives that get to us. Here we come together to share, laugh, and escape from those problems. When things get you down, do your best to focus on the positive in your life-- the blessings. It is so easy to get caught up in the little things, but in the long run, do they really matter? Love those closest to you-- hold on to them, and when you really think about it-- they are what is important, not our disappointments. So, be thankful for your blessings and let the rest be a distant after thought.

MMW - Happy belated birthday!!!
Tink - You sound like an amazing person. I feel for you. My son has a little OCD, but not nearly the extent you are dealing with. One year he pulled out all the hair on one side of his head.
rt - I having been watching the dallas cowboy cheerleader show. I have seen it in the past, but not this year. One of my friends was a dallas cowboy cheerleader a few years ago. They work their buts off for next to nothing. One of the benefits she got was an option to buy season tickets in a special section so a group of us went in together and got the tickets. DH and I went to the Eagles game and we got to walk all the way to the front and these seats were folded seats in front of the regular stadium seats. It was cool being that close. She decided one year was enough and she was ready to start a family.
OK Mater - I give up... what is a hair party???
Where is MM??? I can't wait to hear how her weekend went.

Mon 11/5/2007 6:33a | My MIL sent me an e-mail Friday saying for my birthday coming up, she had something she wanted to get me, but she was a little afraid I might take it the wrong way. I e-mailed her back and told her I hoped it wasn't lipo.<g> This is the same woman that decided to cancel going to DL with us in March and instead is going to spend the money getting a facelift because "It would last longer than the trip". She laughed at that and told me this weekend what it was. She has this cleaning lady that came into her house and did major cleaning for three days and she wanted to get me that for my birthday. This lady cleans the curtains, the ceiling fans, the baseboards, and even the blinds. She said I had a choice between that or she would get me some clothes from Kohl's. Of course, I took the cleaning lady. I just keep things okay and never have time to deeply clean everything so I am excited. My house is going to be spotless... well, at least for a day before the kids, the DH, and the dogs start getting it messy again. Maybe everyone will see how nice it is and work to keep it that way. A woman can dream.... |
