2	cstephens Wed 9/12/2007 12:42a	Thanks for the pictures, Doobie. Can you elaborate on what the ceremony entailed and what you thought of it? Thanks. Flag retreat at DL today was mostly as it usually is. The Dapper Dans sang a song or two beforehand. I was surprised that they did specifically mention September 11, 2001 and asked for a moment of silence. I don't recall them doing that in previous years, but I might just be misremembering. As usual, since this was a weekday, there was a fairly large contingent of non-costumed CMs present. /cs
3	Doobie Wed 9/12/2007 4:09a	We've put up coverage now if you want to see for yourself. But the Voices of Liberty and Main Street Philharmonic (scaled down Main Street Band) were there along with an emcee. The Voices performed two songs plus the National Anthem. The band did two songs as well. Plus the flag retreat with a guest in the park (as is done every day) who served in the armed forces. And a moment of silence as well. I thought it was very well done. Doobie.
4	-em Wed 9/12/2007 7:05a	Agreed. I was able to watch it along with a handful of other Emporium CMs and we all agreed it was well done. Simple yet it worked. Course it was after we noticed the Emporium dressed pumpkin so it added a lighter tone to the night... -em
