Anyone have any idea of what will be added and when in the coming years?

The only rumors I've heard of are a Soarin' type attraction in Mediterranean Harbor, or possibly a roller coaster type attraction in the plot of land behind Port Discovery.

Yep, rumors are of a Leonardo da Vinci's Flying Machine-themed version of Soarin'. Sounds good to me.

There is a model of TDS in the Imagineers book and there is a show building in Mediterrian Harbor.

I guess that is where soarning will go.

You sure about that, Dennis? You're not looking at 20,000 Leagues, or maybe boat storage?

If it's there, I've never seen it (or never noticed it anyway).

Or, is that a model of a building that doesn't exist yet?

I believe that Soarin' was supposed to have opened with the park but was held back for unknown reasons. I know the model Dennis is speaking of, and it does indeed look like the proposed show building for Soarin.

Which plot is this behind Port Discovery? If it's the one next to Indy, I would be surprised, since there is already a coaster on the other side of that building. The only other place I can think of is between PD and Mt Prometheus, but there is a lot of backstage stuff back there that would need to be moved, so I have no idea where that would go.

<<Which plot is this behind Port Discovery?>>

It is indeed that plot of land. It's a very large piece of land (I would estimate it's large enough for at least major 2 E-tickets). I'm pretty sure that land will eventually go to Port Discovery for an expansion of some sort. A roller coaster attraction is one of the supposed rumors. And I don't think the fact that Raging Spirits is a short walk away will make any difference; it will very likely be a full-scale roller coaster attraction like Space Mountain at Disneyland Paris (or so I've been told).

The facade of the show building looks similar to the Hard Rock Coliseum in Universal Orlando.

I wouldn't be surprised if the facade was styled after the Roman Coliseum. After all, that particular area contains very Roman-style architecture.
