Wow! That hotel is pretty impressive looking (and HUGE!). It looks like it will be a great addition to the resort. I just have to wonder about the very plain structure that they're adding to the park entrance (on the left of the photo, behind walls). It looks plenty adequate, but oh-so boring.

That structure is a hotel-guests-only entrance to Tokyo Disneyland. It is now completely out in the open. There have been lots of photos of it on Deep Disney.

It's kind of eerie to see a hotel that big at night and not a single interior light is on. I guess that won't last for too much longer!

Yeah, I think the place will look much nicer when the exterior lighting is turned on.

Just had a friend in Japan book my five-night stay in a standard room from October 13 to 18. The 13th and 17th are "peak" nights: $510 per. The mid-week nights are $410 per. (Assuming the yen and penny are about equal.) Can't wait! Looks beautiful from the outside in the pix on DeepDisney.

Agreed. I certainly think it will raise the bar when compared with the other Disneyland Hotels (Grand Floridian included), though the exterior seems to have attracted the criticisms of many DLP fans. I must admit that it has grown on me. The color scheme is not my favorite, but it really does look grand and like a palatial residence.
