>>There will be a proposal for a new People Mover to be completed by the end of the decade, but it's not known yet if the concept of the Incredipods will be used or not. Since there is still plans for Brad Bird's hero family across the Esplanade some don't feel it'd be right to have competing attractions over here. But the plans for a new redesigned People Mover are in the cards and by the beginning of the next decade we may all be riding in them in a Tomorrowland that will look quite a bit different that it does today.<<

Ahhhhh... Yep... I've seen the name before in association with those parks, but never as an acronym.

>>Right next to ST is the HISTK ride. The plans right now are to replace this fun, but dated attraction by the beginning of the decade with a proposed E-Ticket.<<

LOL
Could this writer fix his typo - HISTA
Next lol ;) .... If Honey I Shrunk The Audience is a "ride" .. then I've been missing something all these years! ;)
Next ...
Just how are they going to fit an "E" caliber attraction into this confined "auditorium" site??!

Duh!

A lot of things are obviously up in the air.

But with 2007 coming to a close soon here .... that only leaves 2 years (2008,2009) for these "end of decade" new Tomorrowland treats to appear.

I'm excited to hear DCA is not the only place on the Anaheim resort to be fixed up.

For what it's worth, I saw a couple of higher level Imagineers (not Tony Baxter) last Sunday, strolling along under the PeopleMover track along the main entry to Tomorrowland. They were looking up at the underside of the tracks. Don't know if it means anything, but it's nice to think so.

ok since Honor Hunter spilled some information i will go ahead and add a bit to it.

There is an attraction being designed for the track. It WILL NOT be based on Incredipods. To make it more clear the attraction WILL NOT be character based.

As for what he said about HISTA, yes the attraction is being looked at for replacement and a new highly themed attraction is being considered.

to answer post 96, in regards to the amount of spaces available within the theater for anykind of attraction don't just look at the theater itself.

Consider all the huge available space surrounding the theater used by queue and behind it. Also consider the other large space that is basically unused that many have complained about.
