Fri 11/9/2007 11:45a Hmmm, a newly highly themed attraction on the People Mover tracks. How much do you wanna bet George Lucas is involved?

Also, the arcade should stay. Roach motels are for the pests, not the owners of the house. "

carefuld that is not what i wrote.

i said there is an attraction being worked on for the track

then i mentioned that HISTA is also scheduled to be removed and replaced with a highly themed attraction.

that is if it is approved.

There is little that could be done to most of the peoplemover track to categorize it as a future highly themed attraction.

Fri 11/9/2007 2:25p I think bean meant not "cartoon character" based. Other characters, as you may see, are still fair game.

And isn't Star Tours 2 in the works already? There isn't anything related to the latest 3 films yet (and I stress "yet"). "

star tours 2.0 is in the works and should drastically and nicely change the attraction and its look.

Expect new eating facilities to

Believe it or not there are several NON CHARACTER based attractions being worked on for both parks along with character based attractions and shows.

I really wis these boards had edit functions so I did not have to make so many posts.

One more thing to wet the appetite. If things continue to plan and the resort continues to do well, the resort will be home to some very innovative and unique attractions. Some of them (yes even a couple of the character based ones) will be among the most innovative in any Disney park.

You know how Pooh (although character based) is the most popular attraction in Tokyo, the same might happen to some of what is being worked on.

I would like to hear about them, if they ever see the light of day. I would be quite enthusiastic about such developments.

I can't figure out this sentence. Are you saying they are going to rennovate the Pooh ride? Or are you saying they are going to use that technology? Or that a character based ride is going to be the most popular in Anaheim?

That last one would be rather hard for me to believe. None of the most popular rides are character based. That would be a big departure.

^^I gleamed from it that he means that whatever the new attraction(s) may be, dazzling technology - that could cause the same excitement as Pooh in Tokyo does - will/may be used, AND elicit the same reaction from guests... absolute gotta see, gotta do. :-)
