*LMAO* I say that ALL the time, but never knew where it came from!! Weird, because I used to watch SCTV with some frequency, but I don't recall seeing those bits - sounds hilarious! Thanks, gadzuux!! :-) |

Of course, they blew her up. Real good. |

Futuristic would be a vehicle that could be programmed to do different routes. But that wouldn't work at DL, unless they expanded the system. Other than that, what could possibly be futuristic about public transportation that would make people want to ride it?
<<America Sings is yet another one that could be redone and upgraded so that it made the attraction better than ever. An example of that would be having some of the animatronics actually take a step, like they did The American Adventure. A lot of things could be done with the new technology that is available for animatronics.>>
I don't get all the love for AS, and even if a new version was great, IMO it has no place in a Tomorrowland.
<<I'm not sure what could be done for Adventure Thru Inner Space. I really can't see how any type of upgrade would make this attraction any better than it was before. It would be just a very outdated ride the day it opened.>>
Body Wars at Epcot was kind-of a reworking of ATIS. With HD video and holography and who knows what else, a new ATIS that used "Atomobiles" instead of a simulator could be very good. |

"Rome, Italian Style" is one of the funniest things ever on TV. |

Perhaps the joy of having a restful "rooftop" view of Tomorrowland for 15 minutes. Which was 50% of the point of the ride from '67 to '95.
My feeling ... I think the world is beyond this "XxXxXx-treme" thrill factor that dominated the 90s ... and I give credit to designers and their imaginations that a brand new futuristic design can be entertaining enough.

Let's have faith in the Disney Imagineers. They will design something new and immersive enough that will keep us coming back for more. |
