2	FerretAfros Thu 10/4/2007 9:53p	The 18 month celebration seems to be typical these days. It worked really well for DL's 50th, but it can also get a little excessive by the end. Plus, all the entertainment (except for the daily rededication ceremony) is the same now, so not much changed since it ended. Either way, it's still better than the Decade of Ten Million Dreams.
3	TDLFAN Sat 10/6/2007 10:57a	Remids me of WDW's 25th anniversary back in 96... and if I recall, that celebration ended in mid 98. Yet sadly, after all of that hoopla and recognizing how important anniversary celebrations can to the bottom line at the parks, WDW's 30th and 35th came and went without noise. Very sad indeed.
