| sherrytodd Thu 1/24/2008 3:19p | I believe that Disney does hold the rights to The Horse and His Boy, but in the story three of the children (Lucy, Susan and Edward) are adults. It would make sense to film another of the series when they are children while they still are children. Obviously they are growing up fast. |

| JeffG Sat 1/26/2008 3:39a | "Prince Caspian" was the second book in the series if you go by the order in which C.S. Lewis wrote and published them. In recent years, the publisher has sometimes re-ordered the books chronologically, but Disney/Walden does appear to be sticking with publication order. In fact, had they filmed them in chronological order, "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" should have been the second film after "The Magician's Nephew".
I think that they are wise to be doing them the way they are as the stories really do flow best in the order written. If you read the books in publication order, each story does build on the things about the world learned in the earlier books, even when the events take place chronologically earlier. For example, "The Horse and His Boy" actually is the telling of a folk story that is referenced at least once in one of the books that was published earlier.
