| Bob Paris Sat 10/20/2007 7:39p | When W was here for the APEC(Asia Pacific Economic Conference, IIRC)meetings, I thought it was EXTREMELY telling that he opened one address by referring to it as the OPEC meetings. Given his administration's and family's reprehensible ties to oil, this was a freudian slip of monumental proportions.
Sorry Americans but the rest of the world sees him as educationally subnormal and an embarressment to your country. |

Trying to put it on topic lol. |

| Mr X Sun 10/21/2007 2:59a | **Sorry Americans**
Hey! >:(
Most of us Americans feel the same way, ya know! We ain't stupid.
Well, except that he won the elections.
Sort of. |

| WorldDisney Sun 10/21/2007 9:22a | Yeah, that's what I don't get sometimes! Yeah, the guy got elected twice, we know it sucks. The first VERY questionable and either way he skeeted by. Second time, by 52%, forget the fact the nearly the other HALF of the country voted for someone else and those are only the people who decided to vote.
And secondly, the guy is at around 30% approval rating for the last two years already. He's been late night fodder for SNL, Letterman and Leno since the day after he took office. Yeah, we GET IT, 70% of the country doesn't approve of the guy like 70% of the world, we're not that blind lol.
BTW, this isn't aimed at Bob Paris, but he did bring a point I see on message boards regularly that somehow the REST of the world is on to the guy and us simple superpower Americans are somehow clueless or too nieve lol. |

Neither one. Americans are "scared". That's what we are... by an administration that constantly reminds us about terrorism and how vulnerable we are to attacks. Be real or imagined, our country has been handicapped by the same fears the govermant has placed in our heads...reason why this man "won" another 4 years in the White House. It's like Hitler never left. |

| WorldDisney Wed 10/24/2007 4:22p | Coup? It's America, not Thailand lol.
That's the way it works, sucks though but there it is. BTW, John Howard just called for elections in your neck of the woods, maybe there could be a coup there since he seems about as useful as Bush lol. |
