Mon 11/12/2007 8:10a | That glorius high energy 1977-2006 music that gave us the best parade choreography is now GONE and replaced w/ that generic P&P type music. You know? The kind that repeats over and over and its anemic? I was DEVASTED when the Toy Soldiers did NOT march to "March of the Toy Soldiers"!! Imagine not dancing to thier own music!!?? All the life has been sucked out of this parade that it had for 29 years. |

Mon 11/12/2007 9:38a | Is it possible that they were just using a different soundtrack for the filming? I'm not sure when you were there, but it seems pretty early for them to have already started normal performances of the parade. |

Mon 11/12/2007 11:50a | They had a cast member preview a few nights ago, their is a video on you tube showing highlights with audio... it is a simple music but thats whats in appearently, Everything is like it now... unless the float has a louder system to overpower the BGM....
The question, what will they do for the taping, use the older music or the newer music... |

Mon 11/12/2007 10:20p | I just saw the parade (hopefully will get video up tomorrow). I heard but didn't see the first one and was not impressed with the music at all. But after watching the second one I absolutely loved it! It's my favorite of the 3 after hours parades now. Boo To You is still cool but this is better to me. And P&P is still terrible.

As for the new parade music, I'd like to hear it.
I, personally, felt having the exact same parade with the exact same music year after year, decade after decade was getting stale.
And if Doobie says he loved it, the chances are good that it is, at the least, decent and may well be much better.
