>> Today was her last chance before we leave. She bought new shoes. <<

My wife does the same thing. Has anybody met a woman who didn't have tons of shoes. No flaming for stero-typing women just an observation I've made.

My wife purchases walking shoes for the parks even though they are the same brand every year. She never has any foot problems from breaking them in. You can never buy sneakers without purchasing a pair or two of casual or dress shoes. That just wouldn't be proper ettiquette.

My wife dresses like a bum when she isn't working...ofcourse she's always preganant, so evidently it's not a big issue for me. *huge grin*

I was contacted by WDW concerning, my concern over the DDE, the DDP, and my opinions in general.

There are problems, but there are people trying very hard to solve or at least treat these problems.

I'm not turning, but I am comforted to know that at least they care enough to contact me and at the very least, hear me out.

There is hope.

Disney actually contacted someone? I thought they quit that in the mid-90s. All I ever get are rubber stamped letters thanking me for my concern.

Interesting that Disney made contact ... but you are a DVCer and they know they need to keep that segment of guests happier than any other ... but I question whether anything will come of it.

Disney Dining is headed down a certain path that the execs in charge believe is the right one. They've obviously bought into all the PowerPoints and believe this is the way to milk the guests even more ... and they don't have a way to factor in how many people they lose ... be it locals ... DDE members ... or just the average guest who tries to get in Le Cellier for a day-of dinner and is told 'we've been booked for tonight for the past seven weeks, sorry ...'' and decides to go off-property to the Lone Star.

Disney contacted me by phone when I complained about the housekeeping at Riverside about two years ago. They also gave me $50 in Disney Dollars. So this is one non-DVC member they contacted. Maybe they only contact one per month and my number came up :-).

I only wrote Disney once and that was after my first visit to the brand new Disney's California Adventure and I asked them very politely WTF?
I got a nice letter saying they were surprised that I was disappointed and suggested I give it another try. By that point they had lost Wolfgang and Mondavi. And canned SSL, Steps in Pooh, Eureka! and replaced it with a parade I was tired of from the MK. Shall I say I was disinclined to accept their offer.
