It's nice to see that they are doing this again, but I can't help but wonder why they decided to go to WDW this year. The past 2 or 3 years they have been sent to DL where they lived in the Big Thunder Ranch area in the petting zoo. I assume they will probably end up in the Fort Wilderness petting zoo in WDW, which is a shame since a lot of people don't even know it's there and will miss seeing them. Any other ideas where the turkeys might spend the rest of their days?

I don't know. I know it's not likely that bred for food turkeys live that long, but perhaps the Disneyland turkeys from last year are still living and that's why they're going to WDW?

Can anyone see the big version of the picture here? It looks like a great desktop picture, but on my computer it only half-loads -- the bottom section is all gray.

Perhaps the LP staff can reload it?

Just speculation, but I think they could fit in a display at Mickey's Toontown Fair for the turkeys at the MK. It's supposed to be a country fair theme there, so live turkeys wouldn't be too much of a reach. I believe they hosted some cows with Mickey Mouse markings there several years back.

According to a variety of places.. The turkeys will live their days out in a area around mickey's house... don't know if its true yet
