Totally agree! Over at RottenTomatoes they have a 93% Fresh rating with 105 reviews in. The roundup of critics is also a pleasure to read. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/ m/enchanted/ |

I've found this too - everybody is intending to see this but hasn't seen it yet.
Some of us will be going back a second time over the holidays, I'm sure. |

| Witches of Morva Mon 12/3/2007 2:45p | ORWEN: Oh! I just assumed B.O. meant Body Odor and that Enchanted had body odor magic.
ORGOCH: Figgers ya'd come with some dumb idea like 'at!
ORWEN: Oh, you're just jeallous of Narissa and the fact she can out-hex you any day of the week, old biddy! In the meantime, I'd like to explain the difference between a Cauldron girl and a Cauldrong girl. One stirs over a cauldron, while the other one falls asleep while trying to spell something correctly, only to get it all wrong. And boy does she ever get 'called wrong' for it!! |

I don't know where you got that impression but that is not the case. Enchanted made $34 million opening weekend. Toy Story 2 made $57 million opening weekend.
<<You continue to compare apples to oranges in trying to analyze this stuff when there are plenty of apple to apple comparisons that would make a lot more sense.>>
I disagree because Enchanted is not a sequel like Toy Story 2 and really the box office is totally different now then it was when Aladdin and Toy Story came out. Movies are much more frontloaded for one thing.
Enchanted's weekend wasn't too spectacular, especially considering National Treasure managed a 47% drop in it's week after Thanksgiving and made a little more over the weekend. Assuming that Enchanted keeps up with National Treasure numbers at this point it's looking to reach a total of $156 million. Pretty much exactly what I said after opening weekend. It still has a chance of around $180 million if it rallies, but my prediction would be around the $160 million range at this point. |

This is a serious question, I'm really not sure. I'm surprised how much my 9-year old son liked it (he liked the Prince).

| Dlmusic Tue 12/4/2007 7:27p | Enchanted tracked about 40% behind it's previous Monday which is a good indication of the movie stabilizing. National Treasure fell 42% in it's second week after Thanksgiving. It looks like Enchanted will continue it's parallel run with National Treasure with a chance of it making more than National Treasure's $86 million take after Thanksgiving weekend. |

Well, you might want to prepare yourself for a delicate chat with your son in the next few years... ;)
