Exactly! The construction would be the reverse of Enchanted. Opens in live action, then goes to animation.
I think that there could be something left in Andalasia by the Evil Queen that has to be retrieved, otherwise chaos would ensue for both Andalasia and New York. In doing this, Giselle then becomes a princess herself, but (of course) chooses to renounce her throne and return to her new life in New York. |

Do I want one? I like ENCHANTED so much, it's kind of disheartening to think about how a sequel wouldn't measure up. Part of what's special about this one is that it's NEW. The second one is not going to enjoy that novelty.
We'll see. When I know more (and it'll be a while) I'll post more. |

If Disney feels the need to release a gyp version like fullscreen, they could at least put both versions together on one disc so nobody accidentally buys the wrong one.
And who knows? Maybe some fullscreen maven will stumble onto the real thing and realize what they've been missing.

| brotherdave Mon 3/24/2008 6:08p | I've actually heard people complaining about purchasing wide-screen DVDs. They hate to see the black bars on the top and the bottom! What they don't realize is what they're missing on the sides with the full-screen movies! |

| threeundertwo Mon 3/24/2008 8:11p | I nearly bought it at the Disney store until I realized there were only full-screens available. What were they thinking? I got it at Target instead, along with a bonus disc.
Stupid Disney store. |

That would be my brother. He is adamant that "widescreen" discs are a rip off because they don't FILL THE SCREEN on his TV set. |

| FerretAfros Mon 3/24/2008 11:56p | I see the problem with that, but what happened to the good old days when you got both? Most "fullscreen" transfers are just pan and scan, and can fit on the same disc as the widescreen one. Many older (3-5 years) DVD's that Disney released have both options, but now you have to pick. A Bug's Life definately had both, and I believe Lady and the Tramp did too, along with others. Is it really that much more work to give us both versions? I doubt it... |

Your brother's gonna LOVE it when the switchover to digital TV happens next February. :-) |
