We are thinking about taking a 4 foot artificial Christmas Tree to WDW. We can take it on the airplane in a relatively small box and set it up in our room(Pop Century - just the two of us). The rest of the family is in two other rooms. Good Idea? Not? I'm interested in if anyone else has taken a Christmas Tree to WDW.

I think that would be a good idea, but I've never done it. I just took a small tree with me to have at school until I go home for Christmas, and it's working quite nicely for me. I don't know if they do it at WDW, but I belive the DLR hotels used to decorate trees that you could get in your room if you wanted. I heard that they were pretty nicely decorated, but fairly expensive.

If I'm not mistaken you can have a live tree already decorated dilivered to you room. Last I heard it was like $75.

^^^^^I thought it was like $375! $75 seems way too economical for Disney, especially when most tree lots charge upwards of $50 for a tree WITHOUT decoration.

I just found this site:

http://www.disneyflorist.com/

They will deliver a tree to your room fully decorated. They have a 4' tree that's $365, and a 2' tree that's $140.
They also have cute Mickey stockings with things like Mickey rice crispy treats with chocolate covered ears. If you were there with kids for Christmas morning these would be cool.
Also romance packages where you can get a rose petal path leading from your room door to a limited edition Beauty and the Beast vase of roses, a silver bracelet, rhinestone tiara, champagne, cheese, fruit and chocolate.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
