Well, I FINALLY saw the movie tonight (shocked??) I bought the DVD the day it came out. The girls have seen it many many many many times, and finally got me on a night when I could sit and watch it.

I noticed all the ones that had been listed, but only because I've read them, or they were obvious (Bella Notte, Grand Duke, etc).

However, no one mentioned the references to Robin Hood or Bambi!! The deer at the beginning sounded JUST like Bambi, and the turtle, how he pops his head, arms, and legs in, and spins, just like the turtle from Robin Hood!

The roaches and mice creeped me out. LOL

I'm listening to the soundtrack, and am enjoying the instrumental parts, especially when I hear snippets from other Disney movies. (Like Beauty and the Beast right now in "Nathanial and Pip") And, I will have "How does she know" stuck in my head forever. :)

It is a wonderful film. We bought it the day it came out.

I don't believe we have noted the moment when Edward examines his relection in his sword. He looks a lot like Gaston when he does.

In the extras, they show snippets from the Blue Ray, and they mention that. :)

Now I wish I had the Blue Ray player so I could watch that version...you can see the originals along with the scenes in Enchanted together

Rewatching it, I noticed that the way Edward picks up Nathaniel and dances with him at the beginning is very similar to the way Phillip does the same with his father in Sleeping Beauty.

Also, Edward and Phillip both leap on their horse and ride off to chase a beautiful voice they heard in the forest.

The dancing with Nathaniel was mentioned, but I keep missing it.

There was something else during the Central Park scene I noticed today, but have forgotten.

Also, when they're crossing the bridge...Lion King? Or wishful thinking? :)

Actually, when the 'parade' is crossing the bridge, it reminded more of the opening of Sleeping Beauty. Not sure if that was intentional or not...
